Spiritual slumber to me is not seeing how close Jesus second coming is. It is being in this world and not fulfilling what God sent me to do on this earth . I’m only 13 but I’m ready to WAKE UP!

What you said was very timely and I am indeed experiencing some spiritual attack but as I write this I am preparing to dig into the Word and you and I both know that it is the sword of the spirit and He who is in me in greater than He who is in the world . We really don't realize how much reality is altered in our "sleep"! We live primarily in ideas and worries and past. It's all abstractions of the present (God is in the real reality) The words sound of a gong are a much different experience than hearing an actual gong. I think that's what all this means. We cannot just sit and wait for things to happen, we must step out in faith. In Numbers Mose was told to call out 70 men to gather around the tent so that God could take some of the Holy Spirit off if him and give some to those men. We have the Holy Spirit available to us, but we have to listen and use it. Step out in obedience.
Sleeping during church service or while listening to a gospel message does not refer to spiritual slumber. Spiritual slumber is when we no longer act on the word of God. Ie, we don't obey his will, we are neither warm nor cool, we don't speak about his goodness and unfailing love to unbelievers, "(Evangelism)don't pray often as we ought to. My comment was not in great detail and barely barely scratched the surface. But in short my statement reflects the beginning go spiritual slumber.
I am now 66 an I was 23 or 24 when I saw an heard that they were not going to preach for 2hours or more anymore, stop attending church twice a week. Stop being do sincere about the elders were telling us, stop fasting( this is why one of the reason is do over weight) stop calling each other brother an sister an etc. People had stop praying as they use to. America became a sleeping giant. You go church an wondering shouldn't we be praying an fasting about that? They pray some simple prayer an shout till we out. I live to dance.
