My suggestion is something I saw another YTer do recently, create a massive infrastructure by building t3 Miners, and have them supply your resources. Then build a massive automation HUB so you can even automate Circuit Boards and Drones themselves. So that the more drones that are made automatically, the more drones are out getting stuff, and the faster things are made. Certainly it will take you time, but itd be worth it in the end, and itd keep everything all nice and organized. As well as keep things being made for you. After all, while drones wont gather algae or vegies, the auto crafters WILL. So they can be making your ferts and whatever needs them there. But everything else is a massive mega factory. You can even set up alongside your teleporters, a bin for the good food and water each. So everywhere you go, you got such. You can even just plop one down next to you wherever, and order food and water to be delivered.
When I activated the fusion reactor, I kept thinking back to the area where those coffin things were and thinking, “people are gonna be here around ever corner I turn” “a warden will show up maybe” but yet nothing happens, it just goes to show how this game makes you scared without ever having something actually scary happening
I like to carry around a teleporter when looting, hopping back to base is increadibly easy that way to manage inventory. You can also build them inside the ships if the room is large enough. No reason to carry food if its just a hop away.
@@chrisschroll8998 Some of them don't for some reason. And it didn't work for me when I tried. Maybe I just did it wrong because it's the first thing I tried with drones and haven't played since I got them working. So that's probably the issue...
Hey Z, just a suggestion but you can up both the Insects and plants instead of the animals up - the Bio Mass- to get the aquarium T2. Hint: rockets for both. T2 Aquarium helps a lot
you should make ur highest priority, priority one. so when you go out and about you can set a personal chest as priority 0 and have supplies brought to you or sent home :3
z1 - why are you still hand crafting - put an autocrafter in the middle of your crates and choose what you want to make on demand :) You can get rid of all the extra containers as you can get the drones to fill them up and then craft up everything
With your current wealth of resources, it might be an idea to place additional Teleport Points, for the Ships and Drills located further away. Saves time over travelling back and forth.
You should set your Shredder to priority -1, that way the containers that need specific items (cobalt, magnesium, etc.) will get them first. Once they are full, the items will go to the shredder.
When the drones came out that was one of the first things I did was set up an organized sort system off camera because woo that too me like 4 hrs to do also a supply all, supply by category will be very helpful along with a auto recycler with a chest they could make it a t2 recycler
Automation is fun! Spent 14 hours getting everything ready and done! If I want it I have it! Lave, Plankton A, B, C, Eggs, done! Drones FTW!!! I seem to have 23 drones idle... there is much to do but they stay idle... I have put down 4 drones stations yet 23 are still idle???? Stuck??? I am glad that I used to be a hoarder in Minecraft! It has paid off in spades!100% inventory sorted! I walk by my 3 "deleters" (which are normally full) and hit the red button" Progress!
You just need to do it like in the beginning of the game, when outside every wreck you had an oxygen hut and a cabinet for loot, but now you can let the drones bring it home

You should just create a floor for each material like 1st floor mineral 2nd floor bio 3rd insect Etc And each floor is equipments that correspond on each material It might be hard but if built right your main base may look like a hotel
Z1 gaming I think you should play another Astronear game. There was a new update about a month ago there’s is a new place to go, but you have to complete all the missions. I think I watched a video on it. It blew my mind enough to tell you. I don’t want to spoil anything but I believe it’s worth checking out. By the way, thanks for reading this 😅
By the way, it will seem like a normal game until you get something in the mission list like I just did and now the question begins by the way I am in kind of late game. I now have an large shuttle and jet pack so just keep that in mind
Make upstairs Priority *4*, and the Disposal System Priority 5!!! Otherwise, you will overload your Disposal too early and you'll have no way to guarantee the Disposal system will even be used...

when using the dna manipulator for fish eggs if you click the mutagen T3 right as it starts it pulls the mutagen back out but still does the sequence and you keep the mutagen in your inventory if you click fast enough you keep all the stuff
Seems to me that reactors only open some of the round-ish doors. Yes there is a reactor in the"Stargate", big area in the of I recall, be sure to check for deconstructable walls in all the 'super secret' for areas.
Z1 i think it is the fish cuse b4 they were introduced u had that algy and it didnt lag. It is probly the fish becuse water and moving all the time and probly the drones to becuse b4 that no lag was thir not even with buttflys. Nice to see this game return tho.
Hey Z I think you have the Priority numbers wrong The priority tells the network how to handle situations where multiple inventories request the same item. A higher number means a higher priority. In other words, a chest that requests iron with a priority of 2 is getting filled first before any iron requests with priority 1 or lower are taken care of.
I realize this is a year late, but just in case someone new stops by: You have priority backwards, the destruction machine should have been set to -1 which means it would only go there if it had NOWHERE else to deliver it to. Yo Z, there is a Zeolite cave in the map so you can infinitely have it at your disposal. I forget exactly where it is, but it’s somewhere by the arches location if I’m remembering correctly.
Can you make the blue boxes so the drones come collect all the stuff for you? It has a cog. (this was said during the first wreck so you may have worked it out)
The chests already in place can't be harvested by the drones. It would be easier that way, but the devs decided against it. However, a large chest on a foundation can be placed just outside any wrecks and set to supply anything you find.
1:40 First of all you are still wrong about which priority is highest. 5 is. You want to use -1 on the shredder. Second, please only throw into shredder output of devices producing multiple resources. That will be miners (before T3), gas extractor T1 (T2 allows to pick which one you want) and Water Life Collector. You may want to setup multiple shredders in a row with the same demand if you have more drones than slots in the shredder or you just would like to have a larger buffer. And you really, REALLY, would like to automate production of everything because manually crafting engines and circuit boards for your drones will get real old real fast. As well as drones themselves. Yep, you can automate them too. Additionally, T3 miners and automation will make collecting most of the resources from the ships worthless including circuit boards. This way you can only go in and collect unique things like rare resources which you haven't automated yet (Pulsar Quartz?) and rare flowers. Everything else will be a dead weight. And of course you wouldn't need sorting stuff and throwing excess into shredder (which will be constantly topped up by miners). 5:35 A wild idea: setup supply on crates right where you find them, so drones will pick that up and sort that out for you right from that crate. 15:00 That's fish causing you a bit of a lag. I have 25~30 FPS at the main area thanks to all the bees and butterflies flying around.
This. I noticed he set the drones to transport (at the highest priority!) cobalt and magnesium from the extractors to the destructor. (It is easier to just let the extractors fill up and stop.) And then a few seconds later he complains that his drones are swamped.
