hi doctor i I just wanted to say thank you for making such wonderful content. It has been five years since I gave birth and when I was pregnant, I would regularly watch your videos. You said some really reassuring things for miscarriage and week by week development. I'm glad I found your channel back then and today your video popped up again so I felt like i should leave a comment of gratitude
I was stuck at 8cm for four hours ! My baby was head down but not positioned right which made me not progress for a long time in the worse painful stage of labor (puking, shaking, etc) ...luckely, the nurse was very patient and they knew he was eventually going to come out since he was my third vaginal delivery but the pain of transition labor for that long made me cave and ask for the epidural. :( I wanted a natural labor but the fear of needing a csection was my downfall for asking for the epidural. 2hrs after the epidural and sleeping for about half of that time, he was ready to come out ! I didn't feel anything, I couldn't tell what I was doing or if I was pushing effectively, what an uncomfortable ackward feeling that was since my prior labors, I was able to at least feel the urge to push and even some pain with it (ring of fire)... epidural is nice but I still dont want that complete numbness either.
