Every year since 2013, the Corona Police Department conducts this federally-recognized joint training session called Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training - ALERRT or short. Rina Nakano reports.
@Daniel Pacheco Smoke that togaf too . Any threat needs to be neutralize they learn the hard way . Besides is not just about arming them is about training them .
But I'm sure after seeing the schools .with guards or police every where the people going to say it's awful too militarized ...get rid of them...feels like communist China ....we seen this b4 duh
“They didn’t do jack”. Like there wasn’t 1000 kids in that school and only 19 dead. What are you on? They made a bad call, just like the military when they bombed 12 kids in Afghanistan.
Think most schools In California have some kind of "shooter on campus" talks with their students since the colombine massacre. It's scary to see actual training with people of that age group. Almost eerie
“All this training”. They don’t take any training pretty much. You expect them to, just as I but most of the shit they do is online. Not to say that some stations do actually do that.
Considering there is like 50 different versions of events with each news station having their own one maybe you shouldn't jump to conclusions. The wiki report says they were unable to enter the room till they had the key. They also said the kid was not wearing a bullet proof vest, it was a vest that carries ammo, so why is NY banning bullet proof vest?
You call shooting from 70 meters away with handguns training? If this were real dont you think those bullets will go tru the wall and possibly strike a child behind it?
Actually all distrital schools in Bogotá have security, 6 I think every shift.....and doors of the School are lock down at all times... it's just security.... And private schools also have security and/ or are lockdown AT ALL TIMES...... It's very scarry that it doesn't happen in the United States... I would never enroll my children in a place that doesn't have the minimum security!! Shit like this and worst can happen anywhere if you, as a citizen, parent or teacher don't make the minimum effort to keep everyone safe!
Maybe classrooms should be equipped with body armor and helmets for each student. Large bulletproof shields would be handy. Or, multiple bullet proof panic rooms with phones and supplies. All this security, however, won't stop a shooter from just waiting til school's out..
That's not the issue man it's the fact that there isn't none inside schools walking around patrolling we need them always inside the schools not after school or after the kids are dead preventing meaning have them inside during school at all times this wasn't the first or second or third so why now all of a sudden
It’s funny how they are acting and sad at the same time. No other country has to train for this. It’s really a shame. In real life they don’t even know what to do because it all comes down to liability and fear of lawsuits.
I agree the A three day traning seems very little time...... All schools sould have minimum safety issues like LOCKS! Actually all distrital schools in my city(Bta, Colombia) have security, 6 I think every shift.....and doors of the School are lock down at all times... it's just security.... And private schools also have security and/ or are lockdown AT ALL TIMES...... It's very scarry that it doesn't happen in the United States... I would never enroll my children in a place that doesn't have the minimum security!! Shit like this and worst can happen anywhere if you, as a citizen, parent or teacher don't make the minimum effort to keep everyone safe!
u want to make it real? work with ex-robber and ex-terrorist, let them make the scenario and let the police go to the scene blind with no details known.
Think the only people fit for something this intense is ex military who have seen actual combat... some street cops just won't have the competency or nerve for it
we did that drill too, they had 1 cop pursue a guy with a gun actively shooting into the girl's locker room to see if he would come in and they all did
