@theeabo yea! I think I'll be playing multilayer this year. Last few years been bad on the multi-player side. Warzone/rebirth was all I was doing before.
You know what would be great? Live chat support, or even phone support. A company this large, with this many customers and now being owned by Microsoft, should be able to pull this off and save thousands of people from the frustration of their broken products.

Does anyone know why when I use my back up code it says “do you want to download thirdpartylogin2FA” then if I click download or cancel it does nothing
If you can login without the backup code or Authenticator, go to support and create a ticket and make your complains, they will send you an email , still make a complain that it didn’t work then they’ll remove it for you
Am trying they sent me an empty back up codes can you tell me what u told them the first and the second time please cause I complained and they sent me an empty back up coded
I’ve tried using every single backup code and they don’t work. Then it tells me if I want new codes I have to do it in my account but I can’t login without the codes 😂
Yeah that sounds about right lol your going to have to contact them and just try the codes that you do have kn a different search engine. My eventually worked out of nowhere.

When I try to use my backup codes and press continue it makes me download a file called third party login 2fa and it doesn’t do anything. Anyone know how to fix this?
@QUiNn-hv2bd Try your to log in on your phone or If you on your phone try on the computer. All comes to fail just make a ticket and tell them the same thing you told me, alot of people have been saying they have been messaging fast and today is Monday ,so they should respond this week.
Try to use them on a different browser, example if you on the phone and you have chrome another same for if you're on a desktop or if you're on computer try on phone. If they all don't work then reach out to customer support they will help you Mon- Fri, they do respond though.
Yeah, that's how mine was, it's annoying. Keep trying the code every day, but just make a ticket and tell them that you can't get into your account with your codes. They will send new ones, then when you log in immediately go to your settings and turn two factor authentication off lol
When I put in the backup code it just leads to me a white screen and I try reloading it it says error on the website is that when you meant to try it multiple days ?
So Ik I said same, because I was having the same issue. But did you get an email when you first set up your 2 step? They give you like 8 backup codes to use. So my best bet would be to check your email. Although 2-step verification sucks…

Oh snap, maybe try another internet browser, or if your on your phone, use a computer or if your on a computer, use a phone. If not, try them in the same process tomorrow. If that doesn't work, you can reach out to support, and they will send you a reset password.
Idk why but I’ve entirely lost the ability to sign into my account and backup codes always are apparently incorrect I’ve tried calling for help and they give me new codes but none of them work it’s really annoying me
@@mefazrirr for me what worked is instead of going to a 3rd party platform like signing in through steam and using backup codes there I just signed in through activision and the codes worked

@noetic8 lol search them in your email that you use for activation. If you can't find them, contact them, and they will send you new ones next week if you do it today.
Idk activision for you lol, try to do the same thing either on a pc or a phone if on either one go on a different web browser. If doesn't work try the next day with different codes, if not working contact them to send new codes. It's really annoying.
Sorry, but you're going to have to contact them for new codes. They respond on the weekday . If you put it in today, they should get back on Tuesday or Wednesday.
@adrianzander2880 In the video skip to 2:15 on the video, this way you won't have to log in on the sign in area you can just log in with your console info.
Try another day and another browser. Mine took a couple of days to work, I actually tried different codes every day and one day it just ended working. If it doesn't just contact them.
@trapy9939 Dang, that's crazy. They usually resolve the issue, I guess tell them the same thing you're telling me and just keep trying the codes. Activation is weird, as we know it's always somthing.
I doubt you'll respond but I REALLY hope you do. When doing the method for submitting a case, will it help me with my issue? My issue is that I dont have access to my 2FA account AND my back up codes dont work despite me never using them before. If you think this will help, you would be a life saver lol.

Don't log in with the main site, go to the support and log in with your console info. Then send a message to support and tell them the same thing you sent me and add a new email address so they can send you the codes.

See I eventually said fuck it its not worth playing Call Of Duty anymore if just trying to set up 2 Factor Authentication makes my blood boil. On top of that the game installed this morning and had all day to install the packs required for me to play which they did install but I open the game and the game is telling me that they aren't installed. So yeah I figure this is the universe telling me to not play Call of Duty.
@Akira L3G10N exactly, just play howarts and overwatch you'll be fine. They took off 3rd person what I really enjoyed on warzone, so I haven't been back since lol a stress releaver lol
If you can't find them then you're going to have to submit a ticket, it's going to take a couple of days but they will get back to you hopefully they will get back to you before the new resurgence.
Hi, I came across your video for the same problem ,can't get my 2 way authenticator codes and my backup codes. Does this method work for warzone mobile (2:18) because I don't have an account in any of the other games
I'm not sure about mobile, but you can send them a message, and they will send you new codes for sure. They will respond on the weekday they don't work on weekends.
When you log in it will ask for the codes, if they don’t work then just make a ticket with them and tell them they don’t work. They will send you new ones, when you log in go to your settings and turn authentication off so you won’t have to do that again and change your password to something you remember.
