Hey everyone! Apologies for the weirdness in the behind-the-scenes video - it had a worldwide block that hit my first two tries to upload it, so I added a blur to the video and messed with the audio a bit. Not ideal, obviously, but better than nothing! This does give me concern for the future behind-the-scenes videos, but we're going to try them anyway!! A few of you suggested I should start a Patreon. I'm weird when it comes to stuff like that, and I have a general discomfort in asking for support in really any manner (if you pay close attention to my earlier videos where I'm talking about Window With a View, or even my own film, Cadia, you can probably tell), but especially financially - that said, I'm hearing you and definitely considering it. If you'd be interested in that, could you let me know in the replies what kind of content you'd want to see? I have some ideas - behind-the-scenes on my screenwriting, film concepts, making-of videos for some run-and-gun indie short films I may be doing over winter to help fight COVID-caused boredom, etc - but I'd love to hear your thoughts!! Also, if the behind-the-scenes videos get blocked, they could easily find a home there. I'm just throwing ideas out there! Throw some back! I purple you!
hmmm. I wonder why? I've watched gazillions of behind the scenes reactions and haven't seen any problems! I do know sometimes people 'flip' the video so that we are seeing a mirror image, I think.
I enjoy watching your journey in the labyrinth that is BTS. It was not so long ago that I was in your shoes , but it feels like I have been with them for years. In fact, Save Me was not the 1st video i watched but it WAS the one that got me in the rabbit hole early this year :) welcome Army !
Watching and joining you in this journey is a lot of fun Cedric. Patreon is a good way to help you in this time. You are producing content that we are enjoying, clearly by the rise in subscribers (yay you!). Plus you can have multiple tiers and MOST of us wouldn’t mind paying $1 or $5 to access content that YT might otherwise block. 😊
Honestly man, most of us just wanna hang out with BTS. They're such a fun, close-knit group. They're very humble and down-to-earth too. The guys act less like superstars and more like crackheads (sorry for the word but the fandom uses this often and mean it in an endearing way). When you're done with the music videos and performances, we'd love to see you react to compilation videos of them just messing around and what not. They're quite entertaining to watch off stage. Lastly, lovely in-depth review. I just enjoy how deep and philosophical you get when you notice stuff in the videos. Can't wait for the next one~
It is a one SHOT. Not a one take. Multiple takes, but each take is of the whole song and they settled for the last. There are no cuts!!! Thank you. Btw, Boy Meets Evil.
*Jungkook makes films/vlogs to music and calls it GCF (Golden Closet Films) , it started with his trip alone with another member Jimin called : GCF in Tokyo....plus he filmed/directed the BTS Upcoming Official Music video coming out this week!!*
The MV was shot in one take. It's just that they did it multiple times to get the perfect one-take MV. So basically they did the whole MV and the dance routine multiple times until they get the perfect one-take MV. I think that also shows their work ethic and how they strive for perfection. Like in Black Swan MV, the part where Jimin did solo dance, the director said they already got the perfect shot but Jimin insist on doing another one just to get the perfect perfect shot ;)
“Save Me” is connected to their song “I’m Fine” used to address depression and anxiety. Both songs have the same intro beat and usually performed together live. “Save Me” written is an ambigram with “I’m Fine” when flipped around (see written on mirror in “Fake Love” MV), and it's like having a secret message and illusion, because people can say to others “I'm fine" but in reality that person internally doesn’t feel that way and should be saved at all costs “Save Me”. The beat of Save Me is upbeat and happy (external appearance) but lyrics are sad (true internal feelings), reflection of, say, not judging a book by its cover.
I have a personal opinion about the Korean language and how it relates to singing ability. The variation of sound in English mostly comes from changes to tongue and teeth placement. But Korean relies on breath and vocal cord changes. Let me give an example using the words 'tock' and 'dock'. The first letter in each word is basically the same sound with different amounts of breath added. The letter "t" is just "d" with more breath, right? Likewise the letter "k" is just an aspirated "g". So we have two levels of aspiration in our language. Korean has four levels. There is softly aspirated, extra aspirated, un-aspirated/strongly voiced, and a totally un-aspirated version. They have three separate letters and a pronunciation rule to differentiate them. This applies to their equivalents for g/k, d/t, b/p, j/ch, and s/sh. The first three have separate letters in the alphabet to distinguish them. For instance, the three letters for the 'k'/'g' sounds are ㄱ, ㅋ, and ㄲ. Breath-wise, the first is about halfway between our 'k' and 'g'. The second is a lot breathier than our 'k'. The third is a vocally forceful but not aspirated 'g'. The fourth pronunciation comes from a spelling rule. All three letters are totally un-aspirated and almost totally un-voiced when the letter is at the end of a word. Example: In the English word 'cook,' the first and last letters are pronounced the same, with a tiny aspirated 'h' sound at the end of them. But in Korean that last 'k' gets "interrupted." There is no breathy "h" added, so it almost sounds like coo- if you aren't listening carefully. This is why you might hear people who don't speak Korean call the youngest member Jung-goo. They aren't listening closely enough to hear the "half of a k" at the end of his name. There are very subtle changes in vowel sounds that require fine-tuned vocal control too, but I will stop here lol. Anywayyyyy........ All of this is to demonstrate how the skill of breath control in singing doesn't really need to be taught, because it comes naturally to a native Korean speaker. I think knowing this language gives people a natural advantage for singing.
That is totally fascinating. Thank you so much for sharing. I'm going to read that as much as possible and try to listen for it - it makes sense, given their breath control and especially some of the more complex vocal choices they make. Brilliant!
I'm learning how to read and speak Korean and those g/k, t/d sounds are something that I just cannot hear or make right now. Your explanation was very helpful. Fighting!
Absolutely incredible, informative and much appreciated explanation..!! Thank you so much..!! Are you a linguistics/speech coach/instructor..?! It is amazing how so very many Koreans sing beautifully and your explanation makes it clear. This also helps explain why Korean/BTS word play games are so complicated and hard for us 'gringos' to understand... Again, thanx for your expertise!!💜
"it doesn't feel like there's any filler songs" AGREED! they are always paying attention to the every long in the album, every lyric, their aim is a whole picture, not that one title track to be stuck in someones head. that's why it's totally worth to go through the songs that doesn't have MVs. they are NOT worse
Yes! I absolutely love this about them. When you hear Baepsae or Go Go you just think of a fun party or kinda goofy song but when you look at the meaning it's totally like BAM you'd never expect this
Why y'all always recommend that video when there are better explanation videos like the Italian armys explains vd? Bulletproof vibes explnatn vd is so damn vague that many don't believe the incidents are connected
"Save Me" & "I'm Fine" are mirrored songs: the lyrics of each are a mirror reflection of the other and the opening music of each is the same, just reversed. It's a sweet concept!
BTS has a knack for writing many boppy poppy songs that has meanings deeper than the Mariana trench. One reactor called Spring Day a "happy song" because she never check the lyrics. The follow-up to "Save Me" song is the "I'm Fine". It has no mv but many live performances with an amazing contemporary-ish choreo.
Yes, you don't put BTS in a box....their music is diverse and that is one of many things I love about BTS. I always appreciate your input on their videos and thank you for your reaction to this video. It does look miserable and cold but the outcome was amazing! 🙂💜
I think that your interpretation of "Save Me" was spot on. On your own time, you should listen to its twin song "I'm Fine" which was in the "Love Yourself: Answer" album a few years later. The lyrics of "I'm Fine" completely cancel out the lyrics of "Save Me" (If you compare both songs' lyrics side-by-side you'll be shocked). It's instrumentals are also derived from "Save Me" (just reversed).
their friendship and positive energy is one of the things I love about them they are actually each other's family they even have songs about it for example jungkook has a song "begin" its about how other members mean to him and helped him grow and jimin and V have a song named friends that is about their friendship (they used to be best friends even before BTS) and all members have a special bond with each other and its not just they are best friends but they are also really nice to the staff and bighit workers they work with.. when they won their firs artist of the year award bighit staff were crying out of happiness for them ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ii62mbYnv8Y.html ) they bring a positive energy wherever they go and they are really kind and that's why everyone loves them (they are also close friends with halsey and she always admires BTS and she loves their personalities like we all do)
I notice how you always understand bts so well.. you are actually on point on this... You will actually find out that BTS does this a lot juxtaposition of their songs- sounding upbeat but the lyrics are actually sad.. and one thing this song “Save Me” actually has a continuation on a different album named “Im Fine”.. the song im fine somehow the self being saved and now is fine..⚠️fun fact⚠️It is an AMBIGRAM where if you flip “i’m fine” it shows “Save Me” this was shown in the “Fake Love” video. You should check out the love performance of “Save Me / Im Fine” it was so cleverly done the song production the lyrics and how they did this !! They are geniuses in making such mindblowing ideas
love your reactions! been watching since the start. if you ever have time to dive in the solo songs you are gonna love daechwita by Agust D (Suga). i think you will definitely love the production and theatrics of it
I consider this my little enjoyable escape from COVID-19. In days when it's not save to meet up with people (new or familiar), it's nice to have at a place where there's a safe way to interact with the world around us. And judging by your comments it's people from around the world - which is maybe my way of travelling (love broadening my intercultural understanding). Your insight makes me miss lectures at uni! Earlier today I pictured you having a tv-program analyzing music, theatre, performing arts etc. in the future - along with your acting career. Like "The BTS-series".
So glad I can provide some small distraction from the barrage of negativity and grief that is currently ripping into our world. BTS and ARMY have been the same for me!
@@CedricGegel1 You definitely do. I hope you'll enjoy unravelling the world of BTS. Please find your own pace and consider what would make it an enjoyable time for you too. Army will like it either way!
They have lived together since the beginning....and still do. All 7 of them slept in1 room when they first started. They are more like family/best friends than just a group. Its nice to see that you notice how close they are, it is real, not put on for the camera.
6:52 i was wondering why is was so upbeat compared to the lyrics but as having past experience in listening to the song on my own time... It came a time where I was feeling down and dark and depressed and when the song plays, already knowing what the song talks about I felt the connection there, and the instrumentals and beat lifted me up in a better mood, helping me to forget those feelings for a little while. 💜
BTS is dropping their new song “Life goes on” MV on this Thursday 9pm PST! Really appreciate your insights and analysis of each MV. I’ve watched many reaction videos. None of them delve in to the concept and the interpretation like you do. Bc of your background of singing, dancing, acting, and directing, you were able to dissect and draw out so much kernels and nuggets that I wouldn’t have thought of just from watching the MVs. Thank you! Keep going! Fighting!
Can you believe that they scheduled to shoot this on a sunny day but it was actually cloudy. Made the whole vibe that much more different, and yet I think it looks better this way
With Spring Day, there are three main explanation videos. The one about the Sewol Ferry tragedy is the one most ARMY accept as the more accurate one as far as BTS' intent. One is an assumption that it's about suicide and that's specifically her interpretation. The third one goes into quite a bit about the ferry tragedy and, for me, was hard to watch. It has footage from the day the ferry sank and the days immediately afterward. The explanation video that focuses on the music video and the meanings of a ton of things in the video shows just how creative and artistic the boys can get. The video focused mainly on the actual tragedy makes a few connections that the other video missed in the MV. BTS are true, genuine artists and their work is really incredible.
100% the reason we love them - their closeness, their work ethic and their talent. 7kings from the beginning always striving to be better while appreciating what they have accomplished and where they are right now. So humble I’m in awe that they have stayed so grounded , they were so young when they started this journey so they obs have the right people surrounding them, supporting them. As brothers they often ensure each others feet stay firmly in the ground- the amount of teasing that goes on is hilarious 😂 Love them all can’t wait for the 20th 💜💜💜
Glad I could be helpful! And I think I remember reading one of the crew there that day saying that they recorded everything again and again until they had the one perfect full take. Which actually fits. From the beginning, all the members have taken the time to heavily monitor both their performances and MVs, and they are often the ones who say they need to do another take, go through another practice, etc. They really are insanely hard working, and it shows. 😊 Also, I'm sure others have mentioned it, but don't be afraid to take a step back from this if you feel overwhelmed. With BTS, there really is SO. MUCH. CONTENT. Go at your own pace. Finally, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and insights, based on your experiences. As a fandom, we tend to really appreciate the reactors who actually bring something more to the conversation than just oohing and aahing. 💜💜💜
Cedric you are correct because unlike western popular music they use no "fluff" everything they do has a purpose so you get thoughtout music that uplifts. Nice reaction💜
the type of reaction and feedback you give is so hard to come by in reaction videos 👏👏 you're one of the few who notices all artistic parts of the music video from visual camerawork and story line to even the lyrics and music sound. we appreciate your videos so much, you should know that
I think they just weren’t as famous at that point so they had less money to invest on videoclips... They didn’t have much of a crew, in the past, but nowadays they go full on every single video.
They can still be pretty nimble. I think it kinda depends on what they are doing. They never cut corners with spending for their mvs. But yea. I’m sure they spend more as they have more to spend. I love the variety of their mvs. They can go very simple to very complex. For example blood sweat and tears. They go from full on production to GCI like Idol. They explore all the avenues
@@douseenow to my knowledge they have never skimped on the budget for their music videos. even one of the past companies they have worked with for their music videos stated that bighit did not skimp on money on bts’ music videos even early on.
@@fjp9 Very true. Mr Bang doesn't compromise on quality. Even every single scene of BTS' MVs is discussed and approved by him even though Mr Choi of Lumpens is already an award-winner Video Director.
Their new teaser today for their new MV says in the credits that Jungkook is the director! Hopefully one day you can also make a video on that to see what you can pick up from that.
Thank you for your Reactions on BTS. They are an amazing group of guys. They've touched so many hearts around the world. Im one of them, and they've been in my music list since than. This song is Amazing, and was made in the cold in Cheongju, South Korea. The song I listen to was "Make it Right" took my heart and helped me. That's why I love BTS.
Awesome reaction! You should definitely watch more videos that showcase their personalities. They’ve lived together for so many years they’re almost family. I recommend “BTS being extra af in America”. It really shows how funny they all are. The carpool karaoke they did with James Corden is another good one!
ahhhhhhh you're so right... honestly they don't have filler songs. even the b-side tracks can be title tracks. i'm not even trying to be biased. this is what drew me to fangirl even at 33. and i'm 36 now... i've been supporting them for years cos they're just SOMETHING ELSE. 💜
yes, it's done in one take. BTS are perfectionists that's why eventhough they're tired, they don't stop until they are satisfied with the end result. they always see a flaw if it's not done perfectly that's why they do the review of each take personally hence the many takes you've seen. but of course in the end, with their being professionals, hardworkers, very well-driven attitude, passion for their craft and love for their fans... they finally got the perfect result they wanted! and yes, there's no other group that genuinely love each other more than BTS does to each member. you could also see and feel how they're kind of lost and sad when one of the member is missing or is not able to join them. also, BTS never fails to express their gratitude and even care and concern for the people behind the scenes that helps, takes care, protect and work with them especially thier ARMYs that's why eventhough we don't know each other within the fandom all over the world, we share the same sincere bond, unity and love for BTS that no other fandom has for their idols! BTS is the best! there's nothing like BTS! BTSxARMYs! BTS doesn't restrict themselves with one or two genres. since they write, compose and produce their own music... they also have the control of how everything will turn out. plus, they have an amazing people behind them and a father-like figure of a CEO (Bang PD) that they could talk to like a real father or a very close older brother or a their bestfriend.
You understand the arts, philosophy, psychology and social context of BTS. And that makes it interesting to listen to you. Many of us need some time to understand these things, but you are head on. And there is so much to explore and it will be enjoyable to watch this happen.
Plenty of others have said it but it was a one-shot! BTS are just huge perfectionists 😂 I remember them saying that they used to insist on recording a bunch of takes for their dance practice videos before realizing that they only ever use one of the first three takes anyway, ultimate perfectionists
It's going to happen! I want to get through the behind-the-scenes and some live performances first, then catch up on some non-BTS content, but then I'm back at it and jumping headfirst into the storyline!
Thank you, too Cedric! I’m so glad you finally got to “Save Me” tho I wish you would’ve seen the behind the scenes 1st cause you know what they thru to make this MV. Your perspective again was awesome. I truly didn’t think mental health. I was thinking ❤️ cause they said “ I need your love before I fall”
With BTS the songs can be enjoyed on a number of different levels, as a straight out bop, as a more literal love poem or the internal struggle many go through seeking relief from pain. There is no "right" . You do great reactions, love the industry insider info. Stay well
What you were saying experiencing this as a performer is almost word for word what the different members have expressed over time - a feeling of joy while performing live contrasting with the loneliness and depression that comes once the crowds leave and they go back to their reality (many times, a solitary hotel room while touring). That’s not to say they don’t love touring and performing - they’ve said countless times that that is one of the reasons why they are doing what they are doing. But they still feel that sense of loss just like we all do. I can only imagine it being amplified as a performer.
Yes,the beat of Save me is upbeat but not the lyrics..."Anpanman" has cheerful music too, but on the one hand it also has a sad meaning..you can react it too.. 20 Nov is their comeback..I can't wait..Tonight,we get Life Goes On official teaser 1..maybe tomorrow is teaser 2.. I'm sorry for my bad english..I purple you💜
The members have lived together for 10 years(still do) they are so much more than just a group of guys singing together in a boyband they are a family and that's what sets them apart from the typical "American boyband" they have even said they feel awkward or uncomfortable when there members around not around.. once you start watching more behind the scenes and get to know their personalities more you'll see that they really are brothers
Save me actually goes together with their song "I'm fine". Save me is about clinging onto someone, most likely a lover, and getting dependent on them alone for your happiness. So you weren't wrong with the mental health guess! As bts often said, you have to love yourself first in order to be able to love others. If you are really unwell mentally, clinging onto someone else will never be truly fullfilling, instead it just poorly covers up the dark feelings and makes you dependent on someone else. I'm fine is a complete turn on this concept. The protagonist learned that they need to be fine on the inside and achieved that goal, freeing themselves in a way by becoming independent from their lover and being able to be happy on their own. Bts also has a symbol going along with it (it was in fake love as the themes obviously link) . from one side it reads "I'm fine" but if you turn it around, it reads "save me"
I really enjoyed watching your reaction and interpretation. You are extremely insightful and have become one of my favourite reactors. I think you are going to enjoy each and every clip from them and I look forward to watching. 💜
Yes. But I think you should’ve watched some more of BTS MV, especially older one, before you watch Bulletproof eternal. Because they put references to older MV in it. And it brings you closer to the feeling like ARMY have, watching this mv. It makes ARMY cry. And I think, when you‘ve grown from Babie ARMY to ARMY its time to watch The Eternal 😀
In my opinion so far you are doing a great job with your reactions. I really enjoying them, I enjoying your film making observations, your lyrics interpretations, your input on the messages you get from them. Thank you 💜💜💜
Hi! I loved your perceptive on the music video. I noticed you commented on how good friends they are. I think you would like them a lot more if you knew their personalities better, but that's just my opinion. They're really like family. And I think you would really like spring day, there's a lot of symbolism and deeper meanings in it!
It honestly makes me happy to see you enjoy them as much as I do 🥺 they are very intensional about what they do. Like you said there are no throw away songs. Each one has a story and meaning. One of the things I appreciate so much about them. About the universe. Not all mvs are part of it. You can see in the credits BigHit tells us which ones are part of it. About the interpretations and theories. They are an army group project kinda thing 😂 you can see us all in twitter coming up with ideas. And by all I mean everyone else bc I just sit and enjoy 😂 Save me has the flip song I’m Fine. It was interesting hear you say that ha. I’m sure many will talk about it. It starts with the beat on backwards from save me. Basically them asking to be saved as they went thru a hard time to saying, you know what, problems will come but we are gonna be fine. It also speaks of their own growth as people and artists. Can’t wait to see the rest of your journey! Have fun! 💜
OMGOMGOMG I CAN'T WAIT TILL U DO GET IN THE BTUNIVERSE💜💜💜 With your skills in theatre it will be sooooo interesting to see how you perceive the universe storyline
thank you thank you for reacting to this, and such a great reaction. This is one of my favorite music video from them. it is simple(no outfit changes) but just pure movement and dedication. My take on this song and MV is someone who is crying out for emotional reassurance.
BTS is really diverse. They truly are great artists that touch millions with their music and artistry and they are wonderful young men with big hearts.
Thank you for your reaction! Your interpretation of the song is definitely on track. This MV was taken in one shoot. They practically filmed on site the whole day waiting for the rain to stop. They practiced through the rain and cold which I find them so dedicated until it was time to film. I'm sure you've been recommended to check out the making of this mv already by Army. :)
When you watch Spring Day, it's really important that you also watch the explanation video. Because you are really good at reading MV I would recommend you to 1st watch the MV and then the explanation... Love your videos
I just ran across your reactions to BTS today. I watch different individuals who do reactions and I really appreciate the perspective you bring to yours. I’ve watched their many videos, many times, and you’ve pointed out things I’ve not noticed before. Welcome to ARMY! 💜💜💜
This Friday their new MV "Life goes on" will be released. You absolutely have too see it, we're all excited about it. I think you might be interested in the fact that Jungkook is credited as director. I enjoy watch your videos. Thanks for taking the time to realize these reactions. Greetings from Italy.
your point about no filler songs is very true! they focus on albums as an entire work, rather than songs each individually on their own. they usually have sets of three albums that go together and contain full story arcs. if you watch their Grammy museum interview from 2018, they talk about this and explain their ideas behind it, it’s very interesting :))
i love hearing your thoughts... for some reason "lunatic night" gets me all the time and you just had to tap on it. sigh amazing. 💜 "you nice, keep going." you're right... bts music is full of juxtaposition... isn't so real, like what you've said... people aren't flat... we have inner struggles versus our persona. we oftentimes keep our real thoughts but we go by decorum and society dictates. i love how they can always express that with their music and mv.
The relationship between BigHit and BTS is an industry anomaly. They’ve grown together and see one another as creative partners. That’s not normal in kpop. So when you see the members taking care of their crew and staff you know it’s genuine. I hope you have a chance to watch more behind the scenes videos. Borahae!!💜
How interesting that you saw the 2 facedness of seeming fine and crying for help. Save Me has a companion song, I’m fine. They often performed them back to back to make the point.
@@MM-et2jr - True! That’s one thing about the way they create... threading and connecting ideas across albums, but pushing forward to reveal new insights.
He mentioning "I'm Fine", my army theorist heart just jumped out of the fence ... Then mentioning "Blue & Grey" (b-side) my gosh BE album is coming! . . . STREAM "Life Goes On" guysssss OUT November 20 at 2 p.m. KST.
I am hyped! You’re starting the Universe. 😁 Loved the vid, your take on things because of your experience is REALLY insightful. (I think you’re doing great learning to recognize them, and the fact that you confused Jimin and Jungkook was kinda funny. The members confuse them too. LOL) 💜
Thank you for taking the time to modify the Behind The Scenes so it'll be available to us^^ Like others said Save Me has a 'sequel' song called I'm Fine. I view them as Save Me being about dependence on sb, you need them to literally save you while in I'm Fine you recognize that only you can save yourself,. But i don't think I'm Fine is a positive song either, you're not really okay yet but at least you've accepted that you'll get there eventually if you trust in yourself. Also random, but i love the commentary texts you add in the video, i've never seen anyone alse do that and i think it adds a lot! Excited for when you check out the Universe and thanks for all your insights as always
BTS is having a comeback on 20th November, Album BE is on the way and Life goes on the title track please spread this bts deserve wins let's stream and enjoy correctly, I love u army and BTS💜💜💜
Yes their songs have different genre..they have a song for everyone. What you saw behind the scenes is true.. They are a family. They are always happy and having fun when they are together. Can't wait for your next reaction video of them.💜
please react to jungkook’s GCF videos!!! he does videography/video-editing and directing as a hobby and they’re so good! they also show really well how his skill has developed over time. they show the other guys from his point of view and how he sees them, so it’s really touching as well :))
Yea.. they r a really fun guy to hangout.. they r so funny n pure.. their relationship between members trully like families n brothers..there is no other group that have cemistry n bonding like them💜 Anyway.. love your interpretation n point of view as always
They did multiple takes but each take was a one-shot and then they used the best take. They did not cut the pieces of various takes together. The companion song to this is “I’m Fine”, but there is no music video, just live performances. Like you said at the end, they have a very diverse discography because they don’t want to box themselves in, although they started as a hip hop group. I encourage you to check out all of their MVs and many great live performances and dance practices. However, some of their best less-commercial and more unique/hard-hard hitting or meaningful songs are the ones without music videos, so that is a whole new world to explore! Yes, Save Me is about mental health. Baepsae is a criticism of the older generation while Spinebreaker is a criticism of the youth, and Go Go is about capitalism, but all these songs are such Bops but you would never know! BTS use a lot a metaphors and symbolism in their lyrics and makes the songs “fun” to provide some ice with that burn 🤣
You hit it right on the head Anxiety, depression, reaching out for help (dance move) needing and wanting help. But covering up as well. So the companion song is I'm fine, that came out in the succeeding albums. Boy meets (evil) intro on next album
They Are friends. They Are family. They have lived together since 2010. They debuted in 2013. They lived in a tiny dorm with one bedroom with bunk beds. They Know each other really well. And they work really hard. J-Hope is the reason their choreography is perfect. He learns the choreography then catches their mistakes on set and teaches and coaches them to excellence. We do like your insight into the production. You have explained some things that no one else has noticed or mentioned. Their dance practices are great because you can see them in detail with no costumes or set. Anyway, you picked up on how special they are. They are bonded for life...no matter what the future holds. They talk about it sometimes...how they will be old with beer bellies. V said I can tell my grandchildren I was famous. They are dear dear lovely human beings who survived all the negativity dished out to them. If you want to watch a movie caliber MV ...watch Suga's "Daechwita". He is a genius. His alter ego Agust D appears in the MV. You can just watch it on your own then come back and review it sometime. Now you get why their fans LOVE them so very much!!! And why I watch their videos Every Day.
"Aaw, they're friends" Actually, the two members on screen at that point, Jimin and Taehyung (V), made a duet song titled "Friends" talking about their long-time friendship and past experiences together. It is common knowledge in ARMY circle that Jimin and Tae are soulmates; confirmed by both of them (and yelled at the top of their lungs during the song). You should react to it! It's really good.
If it's an official Big Hit Labels/BangtanTV MV (like this is) then those are some of the closest translations because they are from the agency themselves. Many of their videos are about either self or relationships/people in general. They have songs for ARMY and a few songs directed at a girl but RM and the group wanted to make their songs open for all people no matter sexuality or gender. The MVs for ON and Black Swan are the only ones they haven't done in SK I believe. Usually their videos are done in SK.
