Lateef is humility, hardwork, consistent, empathy, professionalism, emotional intelligence and talented personified. One of Nigeria’s master class. This is coming from three generations of fans. Keep shining Lateef. Shout out to your spouse too. The fact that she kept her skin tone makes her one of the prettiest and talented in the field.
Egbon Tejjjj, this is by farrrr, one of the most worthwhile 70minutes of my time on RU-vid…! Absolutely insightful. Lateef’s character in Ayinla (as well as Jagun-Jagun) earned him a fan in me. It is amazing to hear his story and the amount of work that went into that role. Also, thank you for that takeaway line from PaulPlay, even the English subtitle didn’t quite capture the essence of that line….”awon omo yii o le tan, iwo lo maa tan!” Right from your days in Lagos on your show, I have followed closely with how you interview your heroes (many of them are same ones I greatly & ardently admire). Thank you for always asking the right questions..! It’s all love from this side. Ire ohhh.
Subhanallah 🙂 This is a story about PERSEVERANCE, GROWTH & SUCCESS. You're worth emulating sir and I'm glad that all your struggles are beginning to pay off 🙏 May Almighty bless you with long life and good health and also increase you in knowledge and wisdom. Thank you Uncle Teju for allowing him share his story with us.
Am grateful that people are talking more about our culture these days….We lost our originality for a very long time… we need to embrace our own. Nice one👍✅🙌
Tejubabyface... you have been awesome and many of us have followed you deeply, since the day of "diamond ring"... this lateef interview made me to reintegrate! well done
Thank you Teju for telling this stories. May the good lord bless your work. Truly, This young man Lateef have done well for himself, I have respect for a few of this generation of actors, himself Gabriel Afolayan and a few others puts themselves into our work. Respect Lateef. And if you ever show up here in California, lets connect.
Lateef striking resemblance with Odunlade also helped in his recognition in the Yoruba industry but his hardwork, passion and consistency helped increase his growth.
I beg to differ. If he was not an excellent actor himself, the lookalike will not help. I heard in a previous interview,he actually intentional made attempts to act differently from Odunlade so he is not compared or mixup as Odunlade's look-alike or a replacement. He set himself apart.
May Allah continue to strengthen you Abdul Lateef and make you greater than your forefathers. You are full of wisdom. Please be focused and stay loved with your wife. We love you star boy
This man is so brilliant ! You stood the test of a time . The fame can have something to hold on to sustain the craft . You are a wonderful man indeed . Look at you now 😊😊😊
Without mincing words, Lateef is great in his craft...I tear up whenever I watch him in biopic movies and especially hear him speak in the Egba dialect. God bless you Teju for bringing him in for an interview...He has a way of bringing out his comic side.
I am happy to watch this podcast about Lateef Oladimeji,l now agree to the music of Lijadu Sisters: Eni a biire, kiijampata" Bibire kose fowora looto, may God bless your parents and God bless you who listened to their teachings ,in Jesus name.Amen.🎉🎉🎉
Teju already immortalised himself and his legacy. These videos will continue to be reference points in the far away future. Thank you senora for all you do.❤❤❤❤❤❤
Since Ayinla Omowura, Bro Lateef Adedimeji has been my favorite actor. This guy is intelligent to a fault. His other films used to be intence that I stop watching halfway. I hope our Ibo brothers will let him represent some of our heroes like Chinu Achebe, Chief Edochie etc. Keep on rocking Lateef Adedimeji. May God bless your family❤❤❤
The story of Lateef is very encouraging. As a RU-vidr, what I earn is not much but with this he said I won't give up. I have come a long way. Weldone baba Teju. You are doing a great job sir.
@@ridwanolawale8100 RU-vid is/was never my job. It's my side hustle and personal community service project. I am an award winning and qualified university lecturer sir.
@@ridwanolawale8100 Chief Ridwan, for your information RU-vid and content creation is a full time job. But currently, I am using it as a community service and also s plan B side hustle as most things are not certain especially in Nigeria. I am a qualified and award winning university lecturer.
@@ridwanolawale8100Alhaji Ridwan, you displayed your ignorance on this excellent channel. RU-vid is off course a full time job for some. I am a University Professor and I use my RU-vid channel as a community service and as a side hustle plan for later in life.
He absolutely killed that role as well as other roles he plays….such an amazing, talented and brilliant thespian. May Allah bless you and yours and continue to grant you wisdom amen
Wow! I am moved with this your podcast and ends with tears rolling to my cheeks. Thanks for regaining hope for my dreams may Almighty Allah continue to bless both of you
Great job, Tej! It's truly inspiring to see people sharing their stories, and it motivates many, including myself. I hope to have the opportunity to share my own story with you and the world someday. Keep up the good work! 👍👍
Educative, entertaining, encouraging, and informative. "Elede o de oyo ariwo ni o po". May we never find ourselves in a situation where one's life is situationally or conditionally reversed with some avoidable problems and issues, and you're being looked at or watched while you're battling with the disabling and avoidable problems and issues.
It is never easy to go to university and graduated before serving in theaters or music industry. I always envy the humbleness of Lateef, Asake, Zlatan and co who are graduate before breaking through Nollywood and music industries.
It is a calling for this young man. Very impressive. You have paid your dues dear. The sky is the limit for your talent, & the reward is bountiful. You will stand the test of time. Blessings. 🙏🏽❤️💐💐💐🥂
This marks my initial exposure to the movie 'Ayinla', only to realize that it premiered approximately three years ago. I promptly accessed Netflix to verify, and it truly is a work of art. Lateef excelled in portraying the Ayinla character on the big screen. I believe additional effort should have been invested in post-production to give the project the recognition it truly deserves. Nonetheless, congratulations to the team for their commendable work, and @Teju Babyface, your consistent authenticity as a media influencer is truly appreciated, you're truly the king of talk.
An excellent interview; when your time comes, no one can stop your shine. Baba mi to n be ni orun will help you attain more greatness in Jesus name amen

U are a legend. Your story/life is highly inspirational. ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉.kudos to u.May Allah bless you with long life, good health and wealth to enjoy your hard earn life
If you listen to this actor who will realize that his father did a great job Providing the basic needs and also tried to spend quality time talking and advising his children… It should not end with giving your wife everything the family need Don’t leave everything for the mothers and later you start complaining that children forget their fathers👌 Groom your kids 🙌 I can not Talk about my life or advice people without mentioning my dad❤️ May his soul continue to rest🙏🏻
Bros Teju, I don't know you, but you are definitely doing a great job. Abundant blessings to you and all yours in Jesus name. Lateet is good in Igbo skit too.❤
