Can't blame ya as I've tried to hire NS3K as well to be my composer years ago and he even did finish a track for me, but my project failed and I ended up doing other stuff. His stuff still impresses me to this day though.

It's a shame there aren't many remixes of Actor's Anteroom out there, for sure. For better or worse, I had to transcribe the song from scratch because I failed to find a midi to use as reference. It was a challenge to get an accurate representation but I'm content with how it all turned out in the end.

I see, cool! Transcriptions from scratch are definitely something I admire. Also, congrats for capturing the essence of Ryougi's character in her Forever's instance. She's so lovely in it, I'm very much inspired by it. (I'm a pixel artist as well)

That particular battle in the demo only happens if the game puts you into the "power" route, which is part of how difficulty variety is handled in Forever. One is towards power-grinding (the route that's meant to have the most boss fights), another for gaining stat boosts and advantages through non-battle events, and a third one that's in the middle. That aside, the boss battle had already been toned down outside of the demo version. I meant it to be slightly more difficult in the demo but there were a few oversights that made damage output from the boss very ridiculous. I can't really pull out a fair percentage towards the completion of this game because I frankly have no set goal with Forever. It is a passion project and also a game that I intend to leave as freeware. I can say that there's about an hour of gameplay/content or so from the demo alone, and the current game barely doubles on it with a little more story and a few more playable characters.

Sorry if you already figured it out by now, but the game being played is called "Forever VS.". i dont think it was released anywhere, but its using the engine and some characters of the singleplayer RPG Forever, which has a demo that can be downloaded in the description of NS3K's video called "Forever - Public Demo 2". Its a really fun game!!

Forever is still a passion project I don't intend to leave behind and will possibly see more progress once I have a stable financial status.

@@NessStar3000 Have you opened a patreon? I can't remember, I've been following Forever for a long time, and I finally have money to donate of possible!

After giving it some timely thought, I ended up deciding against making a Patreon account for the time being. It would introduce a much different mindset with my creative endeavors, and I don't feel like I could endure that kind of management at this time. If someone truly feels inclined to donate, I suppose PayPal would be a viable option. I've also heard positive things with Ko-fi and could consider looking into it.
