just saw a child in an astronaut suit (Obviously a Samus main) and decided to try the tech shown in your video, but the TO's (the police) came around and the stupid Samus fan (the mom) is now filing a lawsuit for causing brain damage to the samus main... smh my head thats why no one uses it in bracket!!!!
Ever since the Mii fighters came out in SSB4, I wanted to get good with them. Brawler especially. This makes me want to go back and relearn SSBU just to pull off this move in a tourney lmao!
I love shot put. Even in a game with flashy sword swings and fireballs, nothing beats the raw effectiveness of throwing a big piece of metal at someone's head
@@TheDarkSpade1 I get Shot Put does have a ton of use, but I believe Sizzle takes the cake for best projectile in the game: frame 6 startup, high range with unreactability at all ranges, 30% Damage, wins most projectile trades, combos at low damage and close range, it does pretty much everything
I think Exploding Side Kick is marginally better than Falcon Punch because of the shorter wind-up and cool-down, plus it being safer on shield. I'll leave it up to FTP to decide if there's anything else to explain in a video.
@@user-jw2it4qf2r I call it marginal because none of these moves are even broaching the prospect of being good moves. If you take every Neutral Special in the game from their source character and tell every character they can take turns picking whichever one they want to complete their kits, Falcon Punch, Warlock Punch, and Exploding Side Kick are going to be the three last to be picked. It's just that once it's down to these three, ESK will probably go first.
0:09 GOD that forward smash hit me right in the gut, that shit made me laugh so hard And more than that, this entire video had so much interesting trivia about mii brawler that I genuinely feel like I'm not only interested in exploring this character some more, but might even boot up smash ultimate for the first time in a solid 2-3 years in order to do so. Absolutely spectacular content, consider me subscribed
_To be fair, if you had a shot put hurled at you, it probably would crush your soul if it connected._ Also, these are some clean edits, I'd love to see you make of these. :D
As a Bowser Jr. player, I understand the effectiveness of hurtboxes very well. Sending my robotic son to get hit by a blazing fireball will always be very funny
I was a mii hater until I realized Brawler and Swordfighter have some of the most randomly cool moveset synergies in the game and they're not only fun to play but also hilarious to meme on people with. Shoutouts to Brawler's Nair and Swordfighter's dair and thanks for showing people how silly this char is. I subbed!
My favorite genre of yt content has returned: in depth explanations of mii brawler’s kit This video was amazing! The quality is off the charts with the editing, and everything you brought up was interesting! I never even knew about the shot parry, I’m praying some mii brawler God pulls it off in tournaments and uses it effectively. Great video! I hope to see more
I LOVE the editing in this video (specifically in the intro sequence). Clear. Concise. You can even say elegant. It’s easy to understand without being dumb. Bravo.
bro these videos are amazing, i really really hope you gain more attention like ausumsaus or whydo or meele moments do. if this is the quality and depth your videos can get with such niche moves like shot put or mii's counter, i can't imagine what you'd be able to make with other characters or moves if you decide to go there. wish you the best man this is awesome
We went from Brawler having one of the worst moves in the game, to having one of the best moves in the game. Your video style is amazing. I would love to see an analysis like this for all of the Mii specials, including Gunner and Swordfighter.
This might be one of the few perfect videos on youtube: It has the perfect amount of everything, comedy, information, entertainment, editing and especially a lot of attention to detail (and probably even more!) This video’s lowkey extremely well-done, congrats.
Solid job dude! Big fan of how informative these videos are, the editing is quick, funny, and sleek! I also learned a ton about an obscure move. …It’s just too bad that I’m an Exploding Side Kick user.
I've watched this video four times over the past couple days, and it's just so good. I especially love how the "Shotput does eighteen" section lines up with the music perfectly (I basically sing it during that section). It's a super high quality video, and it resonates with me a lot. I've never played Mii Brawler, and I haven't played Smash in a while, but now it's the main thing on my mind. I have also subscribed.
The fact that this video is so well made that I was invested about stuff I already know about is just a sign of your amazing style when it comes to writing and editing. Subbed, good shit man
Amazing video on such an overlooked character- much less move! I don't play Brawler, but there are SO many ideas that this video's given me, and your delivery is just phenomenal. Looking forward to seeing more from you!
You've instantly become one of my favorite smashtubers with this one video. The editing style is magnificent and the content is captivating. Thanks so much for this video! I'll definitely be sticking around for more
This video was not only very informative but also really fun to watch?? There were a couple jokes and everything is just really well put together, from the script to the editing. Great job!
mii brawler has always been one of my favorite characters in ultimate and im so glad youre making such high quality content for this character, theyve got such a fun kit to play with
Your style of presentation is so good! Editing, script, informative value, humor, everything! Looking forward to the future of your channel. Would be hype to see more output about other chars and moves, too!
I really enjoy this editing style, smooth and to the point. Actually learning something from a smash jank video is awesome, it's making me want to improve with Brawler. Keep up the great work, can't wait to watch more of your videos!
How do you get shots of the stage like in 0:45 ? Do you use a mod to make the background all 1 color then chroma key it off? Also, amazing stuff! I love this content
I have a purplescreen battlefield mod & Use keylight in AE (chroma key in other programs should work about as well). I save the replay of the stage so I can take control of the camera movements instead of having them be based on character position(s), since no background makes that movement feel wonky. Alternatively X+Dpad Left/Right locks the camera to follow one fighter. Useful on occasion, just remember to wait out the control axis.
man you're making this thing sound fun, especially when you overlay the frying pan effect over it. should be a mod XD also the jank of spawning a hurtbox is definetely cool, I live for the jank p.s. I like how you put back in the sounds in 7:15 to have things be clear, respect the hustle yo!
I saw you post about this video on twitter, and I saved it knowing I might watch it later. After watching it, this was a cool video! I had no idea shot put had that many weird properties, and I learned a few things I didn't know about.
These videos are fantastic! I really wish there were more Smash videos like yours and like AsumSaus's, they have such a great flow from the direction and editing despite being about kind of mundane topics. I mean, how do you make two videos about single moves from a single character in a fighting game so entertaining? It's amazing stuff. The humor is great too. Hoping to see more from you soon!
