When Ringo hit his solo career, he killed it. It didn’t hurt that George was writing several of his big hits. I love the tune John wrote for him (actually initially for himself), too--"I'm the Greatest". Look it up!
Hey JSB! It was always going to be incredibly tough for the guys to carve out successful solo careers. That's all I will say about Richard as I don't want to be too negative. I thought I heard George's influence there. Pleasant enough but only warrants a listen because of who it is imo. Cheers
Hey Cyclops, good to see you are alive and (hopefully) well! Ringo did better than most expected him to I guess, but maybe we'll entirely re-evaluate him when/if Evan David gets around to his solo Ringo top 10 for RTTC...or perhaps we won't! ;-)
For Paul you have to do Paul and then Wings also because some songs like Silly Love Songs aren‘t included..I mean they wouldn’t be in the top 5 of Paul anyway but still.
Ah, I wasn't sure if the Wings stuff would be included or not there, so that's that question answered! Might circle back to Wings another time - cheers Ricardo!
@@Act0rJSB It is partly! For example all Band On The Run songs, and My Love because they were called Paul McCartney and Wings then. Also Live And Let Die was included, just the live version tho sadly. I am still waiting that all later Wings songs like Silly Love Songs, Let Em in and Mull Of Kintyre get included.
For this series I'm going by the current rankings, regardless of totals. Not sure when I get to John if that means Mind Games era tracks will be unusually high due to the recent re-release, but doing it any other way would mean I'd have to actually look through it all first which would destroy the spontaneity (well, that's my excuse...!) - see it as a snapshot in time! JSB
@@Act0rJSB Its just a bit higher I think, also the ultimate mixes are counted separately! With John only War Is Over is missing from the high streaming I can say already, because of obvious reasons. The others are all in the top 5
I'm reliably informed by another viewer that Spotify doesn't know what to do with Wings, so has some in amongst Paul's solo stuff and others separately, so we'll see what I end up doing for that!!
I'd label Ringo a 'passable' singer and he works well enough within his limitations His natural charm and personality, plus his Beatles heritage, do a lot of heavy lifting for him though!
A band might have one great singer, but how many have three? Not to mention, John, Paul, and George are great songwriters. It's impressive that all the Beatles sang. John and Paul are widely regarded as some of the best rock vocalists, and George is a fantastic singer.
actually Ringo has only one song - it's 6 o'clock and this is the song written and originally destined to be Beatles song . All the rest is extremely bad. Это же дураку понятно
