WOW I TYPED THAT BEFORE I HEARD YOUR CONCLUSION. YOU ARE TRULY AN AWESOME TEACHER AND COMING FROM ME A PASSIONATE TEACHER OF 4O YEARS THATS A PHENOMENAL COMPLIMENT.
This year I enrolled in Bible Study Fellowship. The current study is called UNSTOPPABLE: ACTS and LETTERS of the Apostles. In searching for extracurricular information, I ran across this series. One video and I was hooked! I agree with another commenter who said something along the lines of Skip Heitzig is the best expository preacher I have found. The amount of knowledge of scripture, history, and culture that he has been blessed with is like no other I know of. I just finished this series today and pretty much binged the last 4 or 5 videos in a row, just waiting to hear what Skip had to say next. Thank you for this, Skip! I also have gone through the first half of his Rock Solid series on 1 & 2 Peter and it is phenomenal! I highly recommend it, especially for newer believers! Bravo, Skip! Keep on saving souls for Christ!
I agree! And so concise, yet thorough. His teachings don't drag in the extras but are delivered expertly. We're highly blessed to have access to these teachings.
@@Maria_O I agree! He used to fill in for Greg Laurie where I attended church as a new believer in the early ‘90’s. Both pastors are excellent at teaching the Bible in a very relatable way. Even my husband (boyfriend at the time & an ex Mormon who said he never wanted to go to church ) enjoyed both pastors. He is now a believer! I was very happy to find his numerous studies on you tube!
Wow imagine the soldiers who were chained to Paul, what they heard and saw. Im sure they became believers! Thanks Pastor Skip for an awesome teaching of Acts. I see it so differently now!
I didn't know he had been released for a year then re-arrested. So was 2 Timothy written after his second arrest? Sounds like he was headed to his death. (4:7)
6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 2nd Timothy 4;6-7 Thank you, dear.
Very good study, but Paul did not go immediately to heaven. The bible is clear we all sleep in the graves till that glorious day of Jesus return, which can’t be too far away from our times now.....
Then why did Jesus tell the thief on the cross that he would be with Him THAT DAY in paradise? The grave doesn't seem much of a paradise. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. We're ready and waiting for Your glorious return!
