Moms and wives who have lost sons or husbands have nothing to lose ... agree, super sad but so true.

Because older women don't care about the consequences and after a certain age, women know we are invisible.

Older women probably lost a few sons or grandchildren. Nothing to live for. Nothing left to lose. Sad and heartbreaking.

Some men throughout history have tried to make women seem weak. The simple fact is women have always been warriors. We stand strong for our children and loved ones. Women are often the strong backbone of society and this terrifies weak men. Underestimate women at your peril. All these people are courageous and brave, my heart is with them💗

As a 78 year old grandmother I would feel that after raising my family I have had a complete and fulfilled lifeI. If I was living in Russia I would feel that have nothing to lose if I was arrested for breaking the law on voting day by either starting a fire or pouring dye into the ballot box. That would by possibly my first and last chance to show my destain for the political repression of my children and grandchildren who were thrown into the never-ending "military operation" with Ukraine. My "old" body wouldn't withstand torture for any length of time nor would it survive the harsh prison system. It would lkely be my last public opportunity to show my frustration with life under Putin. My heart breaks for the people of Ukraine and Russia.💔🇨🇦

It's so encouraging to see that even a tiny few Russians are willing to stand up and resist and risk everything ... there might be some faint hope yet.

If peaceful protest is not allowed then violent protest becomes inevitable

My highest respect for this brave civilian disobediance! I watched a report by Russian journalists (free and fled to the EU). They showed that already in the elections in 2004 there were frauds, for example one elderly man was complaining, that when he was the first at the ballout, the voting box was already filled 1/3 with voting sheets. And on another voting point a man came with a staple of voting sheets and stuck them in the voting box which was then completly full. One journalists went to him and asked him, what he was doing. The man thought, the journalist was an official and said, he tried to shake the voting box to mix them better, but there were so many it didn`t work out. Another Russian opposition media tracked voting points and found out, that "voters" were brought by bus to this points, although they were not living in this area. After the mass voting they went to their bus and were driven to the next voting point. What a show.

I agree, babushkas are seeing the young men disappear from their communities and so many young widows and children who will never see their fathers again because of this egomaniac … this is an act of defiance on behalf of the younger generation.

The bravery of these ladies is humbling they know wrong when they see it and they know they are going to be punished this will eventually spell the end for Putin and his regime eventually everyone will have had enough of it 😎👍

In Belgorad Province having tank trouble? Armed men freeing them? Definitely women with nothing to lose, dead husbands, sons, or grandsons. That would be where these suggestions were made. Still enormous courage they saw what Navalny went through in Prison.

This election reminds me of a joke that I heard back in the 70’s. In the Soviet Union of course elections were free and fair at all times. The story goes that a Russian citizen went into the voting station and got in line. When he reached the head of the line an Official handed him a sealed envelope to put in the ballot box. The Citizen started to open up the envelope. The Official screamed at him”What are you doing?”. The Citizen answered”I wanted to see who I was voting for”. The Official with a shocked expression on his face said” Comrade, its a secret ballot”

Russia has never known a free election sadly. This reminds me of when Stalin invaded the Baltic States. USSR had elections held in the Baltic states to vote to become part of the USSR, basically voting their countries out of existence. Election results were announced in Moscow before elections were even done, and some districts has 120-200% voter turnout, ie more people voted than there were voters. Basically the entire election was made up. I'm curious whether Russia has ever head an honest election in it's entire history.

The first video where the female official stuffing the ballot box. The lady just to one side of the camera is rocking side to side. That is usually a sign of stress. I wonder if she knew what the cameraman caught.

You should mention VERY FEW PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY VOTING? I’m in Australia and we have huge lines of people voting on any election day and we are a small population compared to Russia.

A Russian friend told us, she received a call with the voice of Putin, complaining she hadn't yet voted. Of course it wasn't targeted (at least we expect this) as some others, who already had been voting also got similarly calls. But it is quiet strange to hear about this.
