As an English teacher in a mid tier International school, yes the oligarchs' kids and those of any diplomats still in the country are likely the only ones who can afford such a school... And then you confirmed the price. Likely there will be a stand off between school and government about amending curriculum.
I talk every day with a friend in Luhansk. There you can see already in which direction Russia goes. Inflation is skyrocketing, to medical doctors you can go only if you can bribe and have connections. Pharmacies are empty and juvenile gangs are controlling the streets. Adult men are an absolute rare species in town.
luhansk is not russia . it's occupied territory and is just being squeezed like an orange for anything useful mainly men to be cannon fodder. if it stays occupied it will eventually be repopulated by russians.

I hope the team behind the song are laughing when they hear it because if not Konstantin might be demonetized. But since the people behind are doing comedy in Denmark and allowed it to be used in the movie he'll probably be fine.
Dear Constantine, you did a great job with this one well done you’re presented the truth to those who left Russia and who are listening to you now about the state of Russia’s economy because of the so-called special operation it’s sad that a leader who is bent on hell delivery to destroy his country, like Putin, who started this mess to try to resurrect an old system that died a long time ago 30 years ago. Russia started to create a better nation, a free nation a nation with people had an opportunity to upgrade their livelihoods and do better for themselves even though the Asian areas did not do as good as Moscow dead in St. Petersburg and many other big cities still, it was a lot better than the miserable hide life under communism. The parts issue with the planes is going to get dire. Winter is coming. I noticed winter is VERY cold in Russia and snow is very deep. Planes are going to breakdown even more. Trains won't be able to get to those places in deep winter. Trouble brewing.
There are allegations that in retaliation for last year, Ukraine may be deliberately targeting the energy infrastructure of Russia’s major cities. There has already been a recent city-wide blackout in St Petersburg; the second largest city in Russia. The frequency and intensity of Ukraine’s attacks on Crimea and into Russia are going up, not down. And this is regardless of whether they achieve significant progress in the counteroffensive in southern Ukraine. Apparently corruption is STILL a serious issue for Russia. Allegedly, Russians were supposed to set up air defenses at Kursk, but whoever was in charge of it just pocketed the funding and practically nothing was done.
They’re already starting to go down. Russia’s lost at least two full-sized passenger jets in the last couple weeks. Everyone got out alive in both cases (the airmanship was pretty damn impressive) but both planes suffered sufficient damaged when they crash-landed to render them unrecoverable. Good for spare parts, basically.

Even though it's a sad state of affairs within Russia I have to say I've really come to enjoy the "crazy news updates". Let's face it, it's better to laugh than to cry, and let's also be honest, it is a slow and painful cathartic process in Russia, we're on it's flipside welcoming those who can see again with open arms and a smile. 🤗🫂 Just my thoughts on this. Oh, don't forget to get some 🍿🍿🍿 while we're waiting for them 😄

People have ups and downs, I didn't mind the more contemplative discussion. I generally 'get' the idea on conditions of both sides. Wandering around on google-earth I see much is similar across the globe , in Russia , Ukraine etc. In Uzbekistan I saw pepsi and sony advertising , churches , mosques homes cars.. really not all that different from florida. (Kazakhstan looked rather dusty.) And so I figure I can imagine well , being similarly situated that my country had gotten so far off track , while I was busy going about my daily business. Uprooting alone, is terrible , been there. During a war people harden themselves, the enemy is made into a simplified stereotype, because its so complicated to hold simultaneously the basic storyline and the individuals. Maybe later theyll have an honest cohesive narrative , but in the thick of things its just easier not to make much distinctions , declare good and bad. A Barbie perspective.
