Did the driving test today, the route given to me was different after the 1:54 minute. They’ve either changed the route or they have a few different routes. I re-entered the DMV after the end of the test through a different entrance than another car (with a different instructor). It really isn’t hard, listen carefully to their instructions and drive safely. You’ll be fine. Good luck!

Tip: One examiner at this DMV will trick you to “go straight at the intersection” but the intersection has only right or left sign near the traffic light.. so as a newbie driver, you will feel like following the instruction, but that would mean lane violation and it means you will fail.. I mean why will you trick the examinee, nervous and all, its like they want you to fail,.. maybe that’s why the passing rate at this DMV is low..

TIPS for people planning to take the test at this location as of August 2021: There are many driving routes and the examiner changes them all the time. It is only accurate for all examiners up to 1:10 in the video. At this point, I have taken the driving test two times at this location (November 2020 and August 2021). I would NOT recommend this location unless you are highly confident in your driving skills and you have practiced in very dense traffic areas beforehand. Most of the examiners at the location are strict. There is probably only one or two that are chill. I had one really weird examiner today, who claimed that some car was following me and she told me " turn right but don't use the right signal, to surprise the car in the back. " wtf she told me to perform an unsafe move, and claimed this was not part of the test but just to deter the vehicle following this was at the intersection at 1:10. I highly doubt the vehicle was actually following me since the intersection was popular it most likely was that we are headed in the same direction. Cons: - lots of traffic - aggressive drivers around this area, I signaled to switch lanes and the car was a far distance and randomly decided to speed up. - some roads are narrow and you need to check to make sure you are not too close to another cars mirror Difficulty to pass unless you have a examiner who knows that logically this area has aggressive drivers and sometimes the error is not the person who is taking the test's fault. PS do not schedule an afternoon test , as I have noticed more people don't pass in the afternoon as the examiners want to leave work and eagerly want to end the drive short.

For San Mateo do they take you to freeway?

South bay is so much easier 😌
