Hey, I always wondered what types of technology troubles actuaries have, and how valuable learning to code well is in the life of an actuary? I've been told to get better at coding in Microsoft Excel, but are there more common programs out there? Is excel becoming outdated at all?

Do you think the industry will moving toward data science, with less actuaries doing modeling and more assisting the process of data scientists to make the models? If so, will that change in your work impact your passion of your 9-5. answering emails and giving advice seems really boring. I feel like while you are giving advice to the data scientists they should also teach you about how they are doing the models. Maybe I have this all wrong. But anyways, love the content, stay positive! Mental health is just as important as physical but less talked about, at least in my world.
