No, no where it said that belly pan had to be ACU compliant , there were many people there with road bikes and number plates unless this is a 2023 requirement
Nice info there Abhi cheers 👍🏻 Can you do us all a favour though, let us know in advanced when you're intending to ride the gixer......twice you've been out filming on it and it's rained both times!! Thanks for sharing as always and good luck for the season 🙂🏍️👍🏻
Hahaha that’s true lol , the rain gods are on my case when I ride that bike and I tried my level best to get out when it’s sunny , that’s why the funny intro of the video was all about how a lonely sunny morning turning rainy later lol . Thanks for watching and commenting mate, truly means a lot
Nice Abhi, we did ours at Snetterton a few weeks ago, the following weekend I had my first races with NGRRC at Donny, quite the experience, especially in Powerbikes.
Wow, I heard that’s a very very competitive series especially the powerbikes. Good luck mate, I was aware of the snetterton ACU test. Hope you have a good year my friend
thank you mate for the lovely words, Mallory is a small but historic track and its in the middle of the country so its very popular. thanks for commenting mate
I have my ACU at Mallory park this Tuesday never ever drove a bike as I’m only 23 and not legal to drive on road but cannot practice in any tracks cause they are all required a ACU.
@@ChasingTenths only ever drove a KTM 125 back 5 years ago when we used to drive them other than that nothing so jumping in the deep end. Shame Mallory park changed there rules for needed a ACU. I cannot practice no where I have a sv650 so hoping it all goes well.
@@MrTommehGFX fingers crossed Hope it should all go well mate. Don’t worry 😉 You got some riding experience so that’s ok. I had a feeling you ridden a bike from your first comment Best of luck You’ll be fine
Grate job, its good to know how everything is organised and how all process looks like. Do you know what minimum engine size you can use on this test???
Thank you mate, one of the most enjoyable things for me is to match music with situations , my cogs in brain work really nicely with that , got a bit of background in music
I agree with you totally , I was not happy with myself for not checking with the authorities to see if camera was ok to put on bike , my fault totally . Lesson learnt , better prepped is the way forward
Great entertaining and educational video Abhi, nice to see part of what it takes to get an ACU licence. Also, wonderful to see someone brave enough to ride that gorgeous '89 gixxer on the track, it's what it always aspired to, I'm sure it was very happy 😎😁. One other thing, glad to see someone use 777 too, instead of the ever present 666 that's so common amongst motorcyclists for some strange reason. I'm sure a more heavenly number will help your successes on the track! 👍😂
What a lovely comment , thanks for watching the video properly and making some great pointers . My number is normally 23 and team’s number is 777 so I am pretty happy with that and yes, that bike was flawless on the track , really lovely machine
Hi Abhi great video I’m hoping to do my ACU licence this year fingers crossed I’ve not had chance to get on track yet this year been so busy but this video has really helped me in preparation and knowing what to expect great work
Thanks Mark , it’s actually quite less of a daunting day, it’s very easy to pass , you simply don’t have to crash . I wish you all the best for your ACU day, and definitely get on the track and get some track time under you
