I am so sorry for the late comment , thank you so much. I really wished the trackday company would let me take the screenshot of that 4th place from their laptop, but due to GDPR and all they didn't let me. but any how , I was chuffed to bits with it. Thank you for the encouragement and the kind words. Hugely appreciated

Damage limited, lesson learned. Best outcome. As alway , Great onboard footage . It’s like been in a simulation video game . Be good if my track day Vedic looked half as impressive.

I actually made a 3 min clip on tires and brakes but I never added it to the video as the video got too too long But in the next part of the video I will include it Very good point actually Thanks for mentioning and watching

Thank you, I couldn’t have summarised that better honestly .. I was so so upset with myself because it was totally unnecessary, it was nearly the end of the session and I could have predicted a red flag after seeing the crash but lesson learnt for sure Thank you for the nice words

The trick with that corner you kept running off circuit at is to keep further to the left on entry and dont tip in until the marshall’s hut on the right dissapears from your peripheral vision. Because the corner tightens up if you turn in too soon you end up in trouble as you found out!

That is spot on , I just simply couldn’t get it right .. I think I was just too greedy on the corner entry .. I think I got it right three times with great pace in the 4 days I was there to my satisfaction but other times I would make it nicely but I wasn’t satisfied as I knew I could take it even better You summed it up nicely and more people told me to do exactly that on day 4 especially still I just didn’t hook it to perfection

@@ChasingTenths it is a difficult circuit to get every corner perfect, theres alot going on. That particular section catches lots of people out.

@@HB-wu8pz absolutely, I really hated this circuit on the first half of day 1 but then it just all fell into place and I quite like it except a few bumps before certain fast corners approach

@@ChasingTenths i think alot of people would agree with you there, my first time at the circuit was the same. Its quite featureless and so easy to get a bit lost almost, plus alot of the corners are late apex’s so you have to be patient. But once you’ve got the hang of it its great fun. Just got back from there myself on Monday.

That was something I played around with for 3 days Testing different braking markers at different points But finally I got a sweet point But it’s so so so tricky that corner Really tough to judge

Great vdi dude, I done another event there a few weeks ago and fast group was a totally different pace, loads of quick riders around the 2min mark and lots of crashes.

Yeah, I heard the same , few bsb boys went there who absolutely smashed it . Very different to when we went So we felt like heros lol 😂😂 But was great to share the tarmac with me Look forward to featuring our session on track on day 4 video

@@ChasingTenths yeah there was alot of race teams. Was defo the busiest and quickest group I've been there on as everyother time it's been relaxed and hardly see anyone on the track. I got taken out and crashed too 😭

@@ChasingTenths bit of damage but nothing to major, manage to fix it up and get back out and I believe my airbag protected me well so no injuries. Shame the guy who done it didn't come and apologise and check I was OK as it was a daft move he pulled which he rode away from.

Wow 4th fastest out of 120+ people! You have gotten pretty peppy since you launched your channel. For scale, how many of you were in the fast group?

I think about 47 probably in the fast group It was for me the best track event ever performance wise but I got a bit clumsy and erratic on day 4 and had another crash 🙈.. but overall hardly any damage but performance was fantastic Thank you for your kind words and appreciation

You did a really good job stopping that bike turn 1 👍. I was just at andalucia with no limits for 4 days. 19th-22 feb. I don’t remember seeing you.

Yes, I really really scrubbed the speed down but just wasn’t enough as when I put my foot down it sunk in the gravel , I was meant to go to that track event when you were there but this track event is from November , the last one of the year .. I just didn’t edit it due to editing Aragon series Thank you ☺️

Whoops 😂, i can see how annoyed you were. I'm just back from Almeria but Andulusia is on the list. Where do NL have you stay? As the circuit is in the middle of knowhere

Oohh I was really really upset with myself lol … You must do Andalusia , it’s tough but comes to you slowly .. we stayed in some really unbelievable place , 35 mins drive But it was superb I think it was in mojacar, breakfast and dinner was included

@@ChasingTenths don't worry about pumping content out quickly for the sake of it mate, one of the many enjoyable aspects of your videos is that you clearly put a great deal of time and effort into making them, quality takes time. The biggest thing I've noticed recently is, you seem to be happier and enjoying yourself much more, great to see mate, it was almost as if the racing took so much time to do, and film and edit, that you were getting fed up, don't fall back into that cycle again pal, keep it fun for you 🏍️👍🏻

I know my bike has much less power than the modern 1000 these days I can truly feel that on the straight It’s really hard to catch the new generation machines I would love the 1100 but I just can’t afford it at the moment But definitely they would be my next bike for sure :)

It’s all about fun my friend , honestly , this laptime game wins no trophies, just a record keeping exercise for me to monitor progression I am so glad you made the most of it But I am also happy that you know your laptime You got a benchmark for next time 🤗

to be fair I was on my road bike with road tyres and didn't crash when a red flag was out. That start finish "straight was tricky and it suckers you in before the first right hander.

I get pretty upset too when I drop the bike but then I kind of know that it was self inflicted… but I gain a lot of pleasure from chasing performance (tenths 🙈) .. Thank you for the appreciation and following A follower like you is sometimes closer then friends and family And I mean it

That blind drop into the right turn 3 was an experience. I'm off to Portimao for my 2nd overseas trackday next month. Hopefully my better understanding of my own bike now I've had it for a year will help me go a bit quicker. Much respect to you and your credit card provider!

Hahaha thank you… I am quite a polite and subtle person but when I visor comes down it’s a different story , I was really really angry with my self because I thought I had really damaged the bike but it was absolutely nothing … but thank you for the lovely words .. will try to make next two episodes even more fun
