I just got an Integra and while I love it, it does something funky (and I'm coming from an RDX, so I'm not totally Acura illiterate). But when I try to start my car sometimes, the car just kind of beeps and I have to put my key fob next to the ignition switch. I assume that's a setting somewhere, but don't know where to begin. Any ideas?
Hi, new subscriber. You mention safety feature near beginning of video that you can unlock just the driver door with key in your pocket and no one else can hop in with you. But you also show that any other door opens when you pull the handle so that means a stranger CAN hop in the car with you. In settings I have mine to driver unlock only but all doors can be opened by simply pulling the handle. Am I missing something?
Great question. The difference is the default is set to the driver door only unlocking when you touch the driver door handle. the other 3 doors is set to unlock all of the doors upon touch of the handle. In the settings you can change that so the driver door unlocks all of the doors. Hope that helps!
@Matt Denholm thanks for the reply, but I probably wasn't clear. I meant that all 4 doors can be opened by pulling each of those handles and I DONT want them to. I want only the driver door to unlock and open and none of the others. When I choose driver Door only in settings, all 4 doors still open just by pulling the handles.
