I know this video is pretty old and I may not get a response but I’m looking for a catback for a 2016 ILX that I’m going to get. Any specific catback systems you’d recommend?
Yes unfortunately rev9 no longer makes the downpipe but any 3 in dp will work. The car is now turbocharged so it sounds different but the full race exhaust still gives it that nice tone.
@@JGMotoVlogs thanks for reaching back. not a lot of ppl in the ilx community. i have a 2016 ilx, i know you have the manual ilx -2015, and ik your turbo setup is custom. how much money did it cost you doing it diy. way cheaper than normal ? and any upgraded things? the dct is a pretty insane combo w a k24 especially if it’s built and i wanted to see what else could i do to it with forced induction. it would be nice to hear from you
@@JGMotoVlogs nvm, i see you’ve put it in the comments already. did you upgrade internals abojt from injectors and just basic things? all you did was custom headers turbo intercooler and all the regular stuff ?
@@AlejandroGarcia-qe2cl I’m running a prl stage 2 turbo kit. Motor is stock trans is built it’s got some goodies. The car makes mid 400whp on 14lbs. There is a kit for the 9th gen accord made by slickfab that would most likely work for your car. Also if your not a member of actual ilx owner and enthusiasts on fb you should join there’s lots of good info on there.
