Yo, this is exactly what mine was doing! Thanks for making this video, you never know how much "money shifting" they did before I bought this poor car 🤣
Unfortunately this was like 20% of the issue. I highly suggest: Shifter box bushings Transmission cable bushings (solid aluminum) REDLINE transmission fluid. I fixed 95% of the transmission grinding with that :)
Such an easy diy 👍🏽 The bottom shifter box bushings that hold the assembly to the floor will make the biggest difference. Shoot me your info as I have a short shifter adapter from Circuit Hero that I didn’t use if you want it. Just pay for the shipping
What is it about the box bushings that makes a discernible difference. I thought they literally just held it down to the floor. How would that effect the feel of the shifter itself? I'm genuinely asking and not challenging you btw lol I'm just really curious what the difference feels like because I'm thinking about getting some if it really does feel better.
@@YouOnlyIiveTwice the OEM bushings are made out of rubber, and give the box a chance to move slightly. Especially when they are worn, and old. After changing them with solid bushings that play is gone since it’s held on solid to the floor.
Hey what’s up man, you totally didn’t understand that was an example. I make monthly passive income from google adsense. If you don’t like the ads than don’t watch my videos. Thanks 🙏
