On the final problem, when you are factoring and have 7 and -27. You flip the signs and write -7 but put 20 instead of 27. So x should equal 7 and -27. Right?
This was a great video. You did a great job explaining the concepts but you have made a mistake on 9:55 - 13:50. Angle 1 is an obtuse angle but you answered it as 65 degrees while Angle 2 is an acute angle but you have answered it to be 115 degrees. I think you should swap the formulas for angle 1 and 2 so it would make more sense. Thanks for the video.
MR. Organic chemistry Tutor, thank for another incredible video/lecture on Angles in Geometry. Solving problems in Land Surveying helps me with a good understanding and background in Geometry.
Question time stamp 11:53 you are factoring and use -7 & 20 instead of -7 & 27 why is that? If you multiply that out again you get x^2-7x+20x-140 = x^2+13x-140 for angles to add to 180* which gives you the right “intended result” however deviates from the original problem of x^2+20x-189. I understand that either 20 and 27 isnt used in finding the resulting angles, however if im not mistaken it does deviate from the original equation? If im mistaken please let me know im here to learn, math is a weakness of mine that im trying to improve on. Thank you for all your helpful content.
Angles in a nutshell Acute angle: hi! I’m acute angle! I Can fit into small spaces! (1-89º) Right angle: hi I’m right angle and I like squares (90º) Obtuse angle: hello I’m a BEEEEG FAT OBTUUUSE ANGLE AND I EAT ALL THE COOKIES(91-179º) Strait angle: I’m JUST A LIN- (180º) Reflex angle hello I’m a reflex agle and I like to exercise so I don’t end up like obtuse angle (181-359º) Obtuse angle *insert cuss words here* YOU STOLE MY FAT NESS GRRRRRR Full angle: uhhhhh… (360º) Zero angle: hey you forgot about me! (0º) Reflex angle: oh sorry about that, I did not see you. Zero angle: it’s ok. Right angle: OH NO OBTUSE ANGLE IS GONNA BLOW!!! All angles except obtuse: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-
i couldnt figure out the factoring so i used inequalities to do this. This is how: we know that angle 1 < 90 degrees (bc it's acute) and angle 2 < 180 (bc its obtuse). 20x - 25 < 90 x < 5.75 x^2 + 16 < 180 x < 12.8 so the value of x is between 5.75 and 12.8 then you plug in the numbers into x and see which makes it right. 20x - 25 + x^2 + 16 = 180 20(7) - 25 + (7)^2 + 26 = 180 dont waste your time with the decimals, just start with 5 to 12. Time-consuming, but I haven't mastered factoring yet so, yeh.
I washed this video while I was student of university prepareing degree mathematicsb but now I am washing this videowhile Iam a teachier of mathematics
Obtuse is wide angle which is bigger expanse. We know about obtuse angle more than right... Beyond right it is obtuse more as obtuseness. Acute angle is less than right and so focusing. It is also similar to open tongs of any type use. Right angle divides a plane in two parts bisect.
I KNOW ALL THE ANGLES ANYWAY RIGHT ANGLE STRAIGHT ANGLE OBTUSE ANGLE ACUTE ANGLE REFLEX ANGLE THATS ALL THATS OUR LESSON TODAY IN 2019 REFLEX ANGLE IS A NEW ONE RIHHT GUYS?
