I have two of these wired at .5 on 8 12's. Rise to 1.5 holding 14.8v clamp 4150w each at 35hz doing 158+. Great amps!

This model amplifier is the 3500.1 not 4500. When it was renamed the 4500.1 they started cutting Soundqubed into the case with the logo in the middle.

Glad someone finally did a dyno on this. I love mine have had it wired to .5 for a year now and haven't had a problem with it. Would have love to see the .5 rating though

.8 ohms on speakers is about equal to .50 on a resistive dyno load (constant dyno load) so I'm guessing at half ohms it's getting near 5700 rms burst at 40hz but I might be slightly off. I'm going to wire my Sounsqubed S1-2250.1 at .50 and later strap it to half ohms .25 per amp after box rise each amp will be near .8 ohms but at resting independence it will show .25per amp. I already tried .50 strapped .25per amp on my 2 Hifonics amps and they did very good so now it's time to try 2 Soundqubed amps at a low independence.

@@RyanBassForLife The 4500 show out at half ohm wiring. The 2200's really shine at half ohm, very surprising. You can't go wrong with the Q series, I'd stay away from the S series though. Bass on my friend! 💪🏼

I would love to see the longer 20inch Soundqubed S1-2250 strapped at 1ohms .50 per amp if not try 1 S1-2250 at .50 ohms. I just finally got one and did a video of inside view of the amp. It looks like a smaller version of this Q1 4500.

I knew this was gonna do well on the dyno, but damn, love that the amplifier performance was double the rated power @ 4 ohms! And 2 ohms was a solid 800+ above rated as well. Those ohms loads are where your subs are gonna spend most of their time after impedance rise if you wire them @1 ohm. They are made in South Korea by one of the two popular amplifier makers there, I think this particular one was made by S&I, so a lot of companies shared designs like this one, and still do. They are also known to be able to handle being wired below 1 ohm. Some people wired them down to .66 and .5 ohms, or strapped them at 1 ohm for competition and/or demo days at shows. Very similar to all the popular small brands with high quality Korean boards.

I ran mine @ .67 it clamped 2888 watts also didn't have the dual input to 1/0 reducers it was hooked to a 70ah lithuim bank my guess is I dropped below 14 volts I did a 147.8 db picked up 2 3rd place trophies that day they have been out of stock for some time now

Possibly. I'm a Skar dealer but their dealer store has been closed for a few months, as soon as it opens I plan to get one for dyno and gut shots - we can perhaps compare them then.

@@Facekicker that would be interesting. I did notice minor differences in the boards as I was looking mine while watching this video. Couldn't tell you exactly what the names are of the components though. Mine will need repair however, it was going in the trash at a pawn shop and friend of mine onew just the guy to get it to. Got it free. If you know of a good repair shop around San Antonio please let me know.

I have the AQ3500 which is the SQ 4500 predecessor. The specs say it makes 4300 @1ohm. I hope too see the AQ 3500 on a dyno some day.

@@dcplze3107 I just watched a video about the differences between the 3500 and the 4500 by AMI customs. The amplifier in this video is in fact a 3500 and not a 4500 - so these are the numbers the 3500 makes. I removed my amp and checked the board’ my AQ3500 is exactly the same as the amp in this video. The only way to tell the difference between the two is the 4 big coils on the 12v input side.The 3500 have 1 less winding on each coil and there are smaller coils coming off the input side coils that are ‘green & gold’ (3500) and ‘red and gold’ (4500). So now I know what my amp will do on a dyno. I have mine powering 2 skar VXF 12’s in a 2-1 4th order with 2 lithium batteries and a 240amp alternator. Its pretty loud for a trunk box ported through the ski pass in a 2011 bmw 550.

I run 2 gain matched at .35 rising to 1.4 and im pulling 3479w from each No dual inputs and im staying in the 14v range can't remember exactly what my voltage was when I tested it

Try a corzus Revolution I have a 10k it’s rated for 1ohm but I run it at half ohm daily seems to put out a lot of power

We've had Corzus on the dyno before with catastrophic results each time, they would suffer internal failure on any 1 or even 1.33 ohm runs - they are rated 1 ohm and expect to see rise from there which isn't present on the dyno. I'm very surprised you haven't had any issues at .5 even with some rise.

@@Facekicker the fan inside sometime sounds weird and I smack it not to hard and I guess it resets and sounds fine and it gets hot if I’m giving demos but I’m going to install a fan in my trunk soon but I’ve had no problems with it I didn’t even know I was wired at half ohm till the other day when I did the math I’ve got two dual .5 ohm sundowns wired series parallel paired there 8k max and I’ve got my gain set to half and I’ve been stinking the coils maybe they’ve gotten better Idk I have a short video of them playing posted my whole car flexes😂

Wattage stops counting on certified as soon as red distortion light glows. It isn't my amp, so on uncertified I was stopping before clipping got very high as to not damage the amp.

The 4500 is discontinued because they have a new q6k coming out soon. How do u like the u5k though? Was thinking about getting the 13k but wasnt sure how good the u line is

@@w7cobalt surprisingly I like it. I’ve never had a full bridge amp before. I just wish it had a clip light on the remote. I doesn’t get hot. I’ve been playing with my gain though because it seems to clip easy .

@@audiodad7400 yeah always liked Korean so been hesitant to switch to full bridge an yeah that's one thing I dont like is that it dont have the clip light. Mine has saved my subs a few times lol. I just bought 4 deaf bonce 3012s so need alot of power for them that's why I was looking at the u13k

Crescendo BC3500 and DC 3.5k but has a beefier power supply like AB Vfl 500.1 or ct sounds cT4000. its a S&I made amp, or S&is Chinese build house.

Lol-ol-ol, I'm currently running my Wolfram AW-9000.1D at half ohm on two Deaf Bonce apocalypse DB3515's and the amp isn't even struggling at all but then again a static charge on a battery bank is far different than a h.o. alternator charging lithium bank with vehicle running

Not my amp, and the dyno at .5 is far far harder on an amp than subwoofers.
