🤘🦁🤘 "Ad Infinitum" is the Latin for "To Infinity" Thank you so much for checking them out. Melissa Bonny is a beast on vocals.. and you haven't even heard her growl yet. Their new album is pure fire!
This is what i like about reaction and analysis reactors, I learn bands i have never listened to and like the music, just checked out their song Eternal Rains and thought yes that is good so a thumbs up from me
When Melissa decided to make Ad Infintum a band project instead of a solo one, the first musician she asked if he would like to be a part of it was drummer Niklas Müller, as they knew each other from occasionally preforming on the same events (not with each other though). He had the choice of which instrument he wanted to play as all positions were still vacant and, in her words: "Niklas can play everything!" He has a second band, Devilizer, in which he plays guitar and does main vocals. As Melissa Bonny does lot's of guest appearances and features besides Ad Infintum and her second band The Dark Side Of The Moon, some people start saying she is kind of in EVERY band now... but nobody complaines about it ;) As people in the comments already mentioned, she can also do growls but she uses it very well-dosed depending on what compliments the individual song.
🤘🦄🤘 Nice that you finally found Ad Infinitum. The band is great. Can't even suggest what to listen to next as there's nothing that isn't good - Unstoppable, Animals, Ethernal Rains, Inferno, Marching on Versaille, Somewhere Better... Their albums always revolve around a theme. In the case of capter III Downfall, it's ancient Egypt and specifically Cleopatra.
Swiss/German symphonic metal band. Started out as a solo project of lead singer Melissa Bonny, but turned into a full band. You didn't see it here, but Melissa can do some growls too. Newest single from their 3rd album, Chapter III Downfall. The album just came out Mar 31. Since you want more from them, try Upside Down or Unstoppable.
Great song, love the lyrics telling a tale of overcoming the negatives in life to rise above. I particularly love the lines "I was born in flames and I learnt how to walk in the fire, Turned my pain into the source of a brighter light." Great reaction, stays safe, God Bless, hope you had an awesome Easter, keep rocking.
Since our friends have reacted to Ad Infinitum, I think it's only logical that they should react to Ad Nauseam - Imperative Imperceptible Impulse. It's slightly - just SLIGHTLY - different style, but very much worth checking out too.🤪
@@noneofyerbeeswax8194 Hi man, you remember me making an “educated guess “ not so long ago that this “Irish folklore metal band “ wasn’t going to last long. I guess my prediction is pretty close to the truth. 😉
@@frank1963 Affirmative. Not exactly a surprise, though it happened sooner than I expected. My guess is that they used Floor's pregnancy, which the break has officially 'nothing' to do with, as an excuse to take said break. Guys look rather 'De-Energized', especially the Maestro himself. Those years of touring must have taken quite a toll on his liver. One last album, maybe one last tour, and a few farewell concerts in celebration of the 30th anniversary in 2026. If it even gets this far, which I'm not sure about. A band taking a break for 'personal' reason for an indeterminate period of time... that sounds oddly familiar. Didn't end well last time. Speaking of which - I've found rather interesting info that might shed some light on the trve reason for the breakup of After Forever. I'll send you a link on FW if you're interested.
@@noneofyerbeeswax8194 We will see what happens, I also think that it’s going to be just a few farewell concerts. You can send me the link via email, I haven’t been on FW for quite some time now. Well actually I’ve been there today, but that was only to look for an email address. Still being mister Hyde. 😉
🇫🇮❤ Great to see you three again & with Ad Infinitum with Melissa Bonny on vocals. She's such a sight for sore eyes & voice for sore ears. P.S.
