I didn't quite know what to expect from this, though I love the original a great deal. It ruled! Rockwiz's duets are often brilliant and this is one of 'em.

This is the 2nd time that this song has been on Rockwiz duets, the other being Tim Rogers & Rebecca Barnard a couple of years ago. I suppose that this song lends itself easily to a duet and I like them both but J Mascis' reputation wins this contest.

Never appreciated this song until I saw this version. J sounds exactly like Tom Petty, but Adalita is the star here. What an amazing vocal. Stevie who? Their harmony is sublime.

***** Firstly being in the Murder Junkies was hardly a career high for Mascis, more a bit of fun, and secondly Mascis is not competing with Petty simply playing one of his songs to support Adelita. Mascis has a back catalogue that is very respectable and he is without doubt one of the best guitarists of his generation.
