What a nice guy. One of my early child hood memories was watching him on tv. Love your work. Love mobile moment. Always speaks out so well about mental health.
Yes, indeed. You are absolutely correct and I believe that we ought to take the exact same approach as people were encouraged to do with Freddie Mercury and AIDS. I.e. see the person, enjoy his music and appreciate his personality. Don't see him or label him as an illness or MH issue. Not that I am trying to suggest for 1 second that you are. You are obviously one of the good guys.👍🤝😊
He will always be my price charming, been a fan since late 70s I went to see him on his book signing and all I could do was cry I couldn't even speak and he was so wonderful his staff ran around to find me a tissue ❤❤❤
I’ve seen him live 3 times more recently! I was absolutely smitten with him when I was a very young teen and still love him now I’m An old lady ♥️♥️♥️♥️
He is a nice guy! He owned a cafe back in the 80's in Hertford and my wife's parents owned a shop, that's how my wife met him lots and said he was nice man!
This is very interesting as he moved to Hollywood in the mid 80s. Before that he was massively busy. I will, however, check this piece of information with his old drummer, Chris ‘Merrick’ Hughes, who I am friends with.
So nice that he got his life together, lovely that he has a daughter who obviously gave him a reason to get back on track, love you Adam such a brilliant performer ❤
What a fantastic guy Adam Ant is. I still get a huge buzz from his wonderful music. He is quite right that you need to see your GP if mental illness is making your life unmanageable. And better sooner than later - it is much better to deal with mental illness before it escalates. I am not a doctor myself but both my sisters are excellent general practitioners (and I am not just saying that because I am their older brother) GP training about mental health has increased enormously and they are extremely clued up about it. They will also be the gateway to other mental health services and will also tell you if you need to see a doctor who is a specialist in mental health medicine (i.e. a psychiatrist) Psychiatrists can get a lot of bad press - much of which is based on ignorance - a good psychiatrist and a co-operative patient can together achieve a great deal and medicine is essential for many types of mental ill health. Any general book on depression that you get at a bookshop which does not stress the importance of seeing your GP is being criminally negligent. I have been severely mentally ill myself and what saved me was the combination of good psychiatry and good therapy. Both were essential. If you are reading this and you feel you may have a mental health issue my heart goes out to you. It is a truly horrible situation. But there is a very strong chance your doctor can help. Avoid people who say "well everyone gets depressed" or "other people have problems too" like the plague. You do not deserve that kind of tactless abuse. You deserve help and support. You are hugely worth it.
Adam reminds me of johnny depp and as for jobless bum I work nights so I watch alot of daytime television so I think you gotta get your facts straight.
Adam or Stuart Goddard as he was previously known as, is a very decent individual deep down. I have only recently learned that he has bipolar disorder. Even so, he seems to cope with it really quite well. I am glad that he got to meet HRH the Queen and had a nice wee chat with her. She knew his name and had obviously paid attention to his work because she knew what he looked like with his stage makeup on.
Vinyl is back love adam I have a collection of 75 items phil smells vinyl that was funny respect I love collecting vinyls and I'm going to see Adam live 2022 March can't wait seen him 6 times all in leicester
Haha with the cellphone! What did he say after he said his daughter made him get it? I couldnt understand. Great interview but I would love to see his performance!
Johnny Depp's Brit bro. How hot did he look in the tux with Queenie? But in the 70s I thought he was quite up himself. He's obviously not. Still loved him though. God we had good music back then.
It's a short felt Top hat of the type that was is in fashion at the very end of the 18th century and first third/half of the 19th century. It's the more workman's version of the tall silk hat, though it was also worn by the landed gentry in the country as a riding hat. it was later largely replaced by the bowler or Coke ( derby for those in the US.)
Hey not everyone knows everything about Adam, but that’s a great testimony right there, even newer fans love him having been exposed to even just a tiny price of this mans absolute brilliance right????
