Adam's Saturday afternoon racing at Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca for the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion. He has trouble with the clutch- as heard on CarCast August 31, 2018.
I know Adam said that if he has not learned how to heel-toe by now he may never learn, but a little clean up on his downshifting would make his braking a lot smoother and help with overtaking and his line in/out....just saying...the car is more than capable.
Gidday Ace, great work man! The vid ends just at the best part. That dice with the Brumos 914/6 is epic, with both of you holding your nerve really well. Cheers from Oz!
Good driving, especially near the end. You look way tall in that car...... and what was the amber light on the a-pillar? It looks like it was on in all the lower gears of the H-pattern?
Solid driving....he has a faster car than most of those guys, for sure in a straight line...seems to lose a little ground when cornering...also noticed some up shifting errors causing the back end to slide around a little where a throttle blip would have really helped. Regardless, he looks comfortable and that looks fun as hell
Nice work Ace Man made short work of the blue 911 and almost creamed the 914. Next time wait till after the race to pop a cold one! Paul would be proud.
Basalmic Vinaigrette my fav Newmans Own! I imagine if AC had his own dressing it would probably be some sort of Spicy Italian? Thanks for sharing, +1 driving on the majority of the clip! 🤙
If you can't rev-match the downshifts with your feet, then you need to have another solution like an auto-blip or a button on the steering wheel you can press with your thumb. For the sake of that car and the others around , nevermind the transmission
Ace, can I have my rear view mirror back you stole from my mini truck in '89? Awesome footage. You should have your documentary team start putting together stuff for a doc about you. Also, does your deoderant hold up to you asking more of it when racing?
Adam, big fan here and love you spending money following your passion but I think you should spend some cabbage on some racing schools. Which one? ALL OF THEM...respectively, you be driving a bunch of cars that are way beyond your abilities and would get way more enjoyment out of your passion once you understand how to correct your driving errors.
