From The Adam Carolla Show Podcast episode from 8-18-2015. Adam tells how he couldn't get Sonny into an event because a bar was present. This leads into a rant on 'self imposed institutionalized bullshit.' www.adamcarolla.com
California seems like a strange dichotomy, on one hand it's supposed to be this free-wheeling place where almost anything goes, you got guys roller-skating down the sidewalk only wearing a speedo and everyone is high and yet it seems to be the place with the most rules and regulations.
I don't think Adam gets it. ... It wasn't about anybody being worried that your kid would drink alcohol. It was about it being an adults only hang out, for the day. It was set up to be an escape from everybody's fucking obnoxious rugrats running around for awhile, (including their own rugrats.)
ironic how the age limit just happens to be 21. Is that the age threshold when you finally graduate from being an "obnoxious rugrat", or perhaps you can think of a different metric as to why 21 was the established age?
Hey Adam did you ever stop to wonder if perhaps the event was intended for adults and not kids for a reason? Maybe people pay all that money and don't want kids around.
