I was going to order one, but I realized there's no international shipping. I'm from the States, but live in Japan now. Oh well 🫤 the pure plank looks great, though.
Something I noticed that makes CVV a great interviewer is how he shuts his mouth and listens. So many interviewers are too keen on asking their questions in a specific order and don’t let the interviewee just speak
He’s good at understanding the conversation and actively listening to base his questions around the interview instead of basing the interview around his questions. Probably been doing it long enough now too to be able to improvise some questions
My grandmother passed away the morning of RR when he returned, as expected, it was horrible. I got back from being with family and put on RR, seeing him, made it way less worse. I tweeted this to him that night, and he "liked" it... that's all I needed from him. Just him to see it. I'm forever thankful for Adam (Edge).
Awww man I can imagine the emotions you experienced that day. So many people got emotional when he returned, and I imagine it was heavier for yourself.
No moment will ever top his return. Just like our grandparents remembered where they were when JFK was shot, I’ll always remember where u was, what I was doing, and my reaction.
That should be all of our outlook on life. Especially if we are parents. Because today in 2024 at least here in America you really don't have parents being parents anymore they're being more friends than what they are actually being parents and I think that's wrong. You discipline them you taste them right from wrong you taste them how to respect people and all that other stuff man all that other stuff people are worried about today is just out of whack. And another thing I dislike today about parents they're not teaching their kids how to have thick skin and actually beat critical thinkers. Not wanting to get political because this is wrestling don't know one want to be political when we talked about wrestling or anything but for a great example today you can't even have a conversation with anyone anymore without being called a name or something like that. All of us especially if we your parents need to make sure we are doing our part. Thats my opinion but I agree with you this is a damn good quote and I believe every parent should try to live like this or try to make sure they are doing this
I don’t care if he went to AEW, as long as he’s happy that’s the main thing. An absolute legend of the industry and a true childhood idol for many (myself included). Thank you, Adam Copeland. Wish him nothing but the very best as it’s the least he deserves 👊🏼
I wish more people would think about that like we do cause im the same way no matter where any wrestler goes im happy for them its their career their life their time money and effort and its their decisions
@@wrestlingcomicsawesomeness7056 exactly just WWE FANS CANT STAND WRESTLERS THEY LIKE WRESTLING IN ANY OTHER COMPANY MAKES THEM CRY ITS PATHETIC ONLY COMPANY THAT MATTERS IS THEIR WWE ADAM COPELAND EDGE IS DOING WHAT HE WANTS WISH HIM THE BEST WHEREVER HE IS HES DONE EVERYTHING IN WWE WHATS LEFT TO PROVE
@@davidcoombsbestmegadethalb9780 to be completely fair, AEW fans are no better. They do the same thing. Anyone being a tribalistic a-hole just doesn’t get it. There are people on both sides.
What I gather most from this interview, is that Adam cares so deeply for his family and especially his daughters. It's so often in the wrestling business we hear about absent or neglectful fathers, that when you hear someone like Edge constantly mentioning his girls, or his wife, and genuinely being so ecstatic to talk about them, it's heartwarming as hell. I'm so happy he's so happy, man deserves the world.
That was the greatest return in WWE history. Edge was supposed to NEVER wrestle again. Cm punk was shocking and Daniel Bryan as well but 9 years seemed like he was for sure never coming back. Thank you for those goosebumps and memories Edge.
Only thing that ruined it from being best ever for me was that it was rumored beforehand. Me and my friends were all talking about him returning at the rumble as a possibility, so that’s kind of a bummer. Had it been a complete surprise it would have been absolutely mind blowing insane.
Royal Rumble 2020. I was getting ready for school. I got my books and walked into the living room to hear "You think you know me". I dropped my books to the floor and my jaw fell along with.
@@KamoMustafaWWEdon’t mind them they are ignorant and think the world revolves around them. Sucks to have them air on a Monday before school. I feel for you
As far as Edge and his split from the judgment day, I'm sure that every member of that group moving forward gives their flowers to him as one of the best performers in the WWE. What he's done and is doing in AEW just adds to his greatness. Thank you, Adam, for your continuous contributions to the wrestling industry, and thank you, Chris, for sharing this interview with us.
I love these longer interviews. This one is up there on my favorites that I've seen you do. Just for how it feels like 2 friends reuniting and just talking. Comfy as hell
This is a great interview Chris. The thing that I like the most about all of your wrestling interviews, is that you give the wrestlers a lot of time to talk, instead of cutting them off mid sentence like a lot of other interviewers do (which is one of my pet peeves).
Love what he said about watching EVERYTHING... I have been a wrestling fan for 56 of my 61 years.... I watch ANY and ALL wrestling I can. There are things I love about some companies, and some things I don't... but as a fan... I just want as much wrestling as I can get, no matter what "initials" are behind it. Adam has been my favorite since I saw him do a jobber match on WCW... I knew then... that kid was special....and I was right. I am a fan of Adam's for life.
Thank you, CVV, for an amazing interview. Thank you, Adam, for everything you have done for all of your fans over the years. What an amazing human being. Wishing you nothing but the best. Rated R forever
Adam Copeland has been amazing in AEW. So glad that he's there doing his thing and that he's enjoying himself on top of that. His interview on Swerve Strickland's channel was awesome too! Very informative and fun 👏 👏 👏
Normally don’t do stuff like this but I just have to say this dude will always be on my Mount Rushmore. I grew up during the ruthless aggression era and Edge was pivotal in why I love wrestling today. Outside of Randy Orton, he was the best Heel that I ever was able to watch growing up. I don’t take a moment he is in the ring for granted!
The royal rumble return was the first time I cried watching wrestling. (Not counting being 8 years old) edge was always one of my favorites and it crushed me when he retired. That moment will be remembered forever 🥲
I can remember the 1st time wrestling made me cry. It was when Tatanka joined the million dollar corporation and turned on Lex Luger. Think I was like 9. Crushed me
Adam is of a generation like mine where we loved to watch everything. I don't blame today's fans because they grew up with a monopoly. But spread your wings and broaden your horizons to this beautiful industry.
Right?! I don't understand the tribalism! You know what I am? A wrestling fan. I'm not a WWE fan, because WWE is only a small portion of the industry. It just so happens to be the most well known, and it'd a good, easily accessible way for people yo get into it. But spread your wings. See what else is out there. Because there's a TON out there.
@@1KQ_ of course you're not. But ask yourself this. Do you only eat at one restaurant? Do you only drink one brand of beverage? Do you only shop at one store? It's wrestling and you're just a product of your generation. It's all good.
@@cityandlocal yeah it's wrestling, there's plenty of it. Just like the Monday night wars no amount of petty gaslighting will get people to watch your product, Cope :D
Thanks for uploading another great interview Chris. Edge's journey in wrestling is inspirational and when he returned in 2020, my jaw dropped! I am so happy he is wrestling again. .
Always been a great fan of the wrestler but also the person he seems to be. Adam has always been a great inspiration to me being so humble and having great values. Thank you CVV for this great interview, i haven't been able to listen a lot of them recently, but you are the greatest interviewer i've heard in wrestling. Hands down.
i love it, him saying his legacy is his kids not what he does in spandex. a great interview to watch no matter who you root for. there is no heat between him and wwe , he did everything he could in wwe.
Waited so long for this interview. As somebody who is a HUGE Edgehead, I was really hoping you’d interview him, Chris. This is literally my favorite interview ever. What I noticed from watching multiple Adam interviews, he’s always managed to be an amazing storyteller. Pair him with an incredible interviewer and we have the best Edge/Adam interview there is. Both of you, well done! Truly loved this episode and was so excited for it! ❤
I remember Edge returning at SummerSlam 2019, I screamed so loud my brain I almost passed out, I couldn’t even focus on the next match or anything for about 20 minutes, wild.
Hard disagree on legacy, Edge has inspired so many people thanks to his career. Even though a lot of this is predetermined, it was Edge’s work ethic that pushed him into the atmosphere. Edge’s legacy is always worth praising.
Orangeville boy here i remember Adam, Jason, Nick, John, Greg, and all the other boys. Super proud and glad that I got the chance to know them ODSS 4ever!
Always remember edge stated that his time in aew is the highlight of his career. TLC, MITB, Cena feud, Taker feud, Rated RKO??? No, wrestling Lee Morialty and Daniel Garcia is the highlight of his career.
understand the context, wwe was in his prime, then they told him u r done (wrestling wise) with us... he is still hungry to wrestle (not $, wwe wouldave gave him close to aew) and AEW gives him that platform to continue his dream... simple really...
One of the greatest pro wrestling careers ever! I remember when him & Christian first broke up in 2001 & that fued. 2002-03, as part of the Smackdown 6. Just starting to breakout into the IC Title-Main event scene in 05-06. Now, he's a multiple time World Champ and an ALL TIME great! Much respect to the RATED R SUPERSTAR!! 🤟
I wasn't watching in Edge & Christian's peak years...I need to go back and watch that stuff. Because their WWE & AEW stuff in recent years has ruled. Edge seems like such a good dude.
Huge Edge fan, my whole entire life! First saw him compete live at Fatal Four Way 2010 (wish way sooner) & lastly at Worlds End. Hopefully at FD, again, legend!
Chris, I have watched many of these but this one with dam is by far my new all-time favorite. What a great guy! Well, actually that applies to BOTH of you! Chris, you have a trait that too many interviewers lack. Others listen waiting for an opportunity to speak. You do the complete opposite. You ask great questions and then you sit back and allow the other person to answer. You know when to interact without stepping on top of the other person. As for Adam, he is pretty damn amazing. The excitement in his voice and in his eyes when he talks about what he is doing in AEW is a beautiful thing. Kudos Chris on one of the greatest interviews that you've ever done. Thank you for doing so.
All the idiots on the internet saying Adam needs to be in WWE and he’s having a terrible time in AEW. No he has a choice where he wants to be and he’s doing what he wants to.
I never understood why people say that. He had a wholesome ending in Toronto with wwe but what else was there for him to do? The landscape in WWE was changing and look what both Damien and Rhea have become since then. World champs
Yeah gotta admit, as much as a shitshow AEW has been recently because of Tony Khan, at least Edge had a reason to go to AEW that’s not along the lines of “Fuck WWE”, he’s already done everything in WWE, there’s not much left for him to do anymore, so what’s left is that he should retire with his friend, Christain who is in AEW.
@@sonomni Honestly id say Dynamite has gotten better Collision is getting there and Rampage is yea rampage i mean what else can i say. Again just my opinion but a big reason i think that is because they've managed to get actual locker room leaders in Danielson and Copeland. Who can hash out whatvever goes down instead of letting it boil over.
Chris, your deep dive into Adam Copeland’s illustrious 25-year career was phenomenal! The way you captured the essence of Edge’s journey, his pivotal WrestleMania moments, and his decision to choose AEW over WWE was truly insightful. It’s interviews like this that elevate the wrestling discourse to new heights. Kudos to both you and Adam for such an engaging conversation! #Edge #AEW #WrestlingLegend
Seattle native here! Adam Copeland, Edge has always been one of my favorites to watch of all time, I’ve been a wrestling fan since around 2016, and I went to the WrestleDream show that happened back in October and obviously I heard about the Edge joining AEW rumors before the WrestleDream and it was me and my dad who went to the show that night and I was taking to him before the night before the show and just talking to him about the rumors and his thoughts was basically like a “yeah it would be really cool” type of thing, and then the night came and the Christian and Darby match was the main event, and I was just thinking “man he has gotta show up” and while Sting is in the ring trying to save Darby and getting beat up then the lights going black and seeing the entire video package of the old fashioned car and the Mariners fireworks night, which I was at as well, and seeing the car stop at the arena, I was just thinking “holy sh*t he is here.” And then seeing him coming out to Metalingus, and seeing him live for the first time is most definitely my favorite moment I’ve ever seen live at a Wrestling show and up there for one of my favorite moments I’ve been at ever. Just insanity that night was. Thank you Adam Copeland for a great night of wrestling capped with a memory for life.
My dad was the big positive influence in my life that helped me turn out as the man I am today, so it was surprising to me to learn that Adam never met his dad. That means his mom is amazing! What a superb job she did. Adam is seriously one of the most admirable humans I've ever seen. He's kind, compassionate, hard working, sweet, tough, down to earth, coconscious, dependable, openminded, and just a good human being. He's a role model. His mom should be very proud, and I'm sure she is. ❤
The Adam copen with Matt cardona was my favorite AEW match. Just seeing the beginning an for me to stay a fan all these years to see that beautiful story being told
