Best team that ever walked the cricket ground. Flippinn 15 match winners and five extra waiting. They used to crush othersides. Winning against them was like winning a lottery, cox it was so rare
Best team ever walked in cricket ground was 1980 Clive lyoids west Indies cricket team they were true sports man honest genious players not like these cheaters
@@wasiullahchoudhary2673 .....Aus cricketers between 1999-2015 is was and will always be the greatest cricket team of all time in tests..odi ,world cup events anytime ......no team even the west indies of 70 and 80s could never even match upto the skill level and competitiveness of the mighty AUS team of Ponting and Steve Waugh.......
My Respect to Australian Great-Adam Gilchrist. Won Australian 3 World Cup Finals in the row single handedly by giving them quick starts in all the Finals #Legend #MatchWinner 🙏🙏
One of a kind player, and one hell of a decent bloke. One of the greats of the game, in my opinion. Would have him behind the stumps in my All Time Fantasy XI, not a doubt in my mind. Such a destructive player.
Gilly was a freak , the greatest batsmen I have ever watched. Gilly and Hayden. What a pair of opening batsmen, the way Hayden would walk at the bowler and smash the ball straight back over the bowlers head for six , such arrogance and so intimidating for any bowler, and that was what made these 2 batsmen the best opening combination of all time 💪
Channel is trying compensate the last disastrous loss of Australia over English team. Golden era of men in yellow. 👍 Every player was like one man army.✌
I remembered my old days when I was a young boy watching cricket and back then, You needed a miracle to get rid of Gilchrist easily, he was such a classy and among some of the best hitters of the ball at that time
absolutely true , the smaller thinner bats of gilly’s era definitely made a different sound than the tree trunks of today’s era , however , when gilly smashed em , the crack off the bat was like the timber was being put under forces that other batsmen could not replicate , maybe due to his high bat grip combined with extraordinary bat speed , CRUNCH ! that’s outa here !
Being a 1992 born I am so lucky to witnessed best team ever in the history of cricket which blasted from 1998-2008. Cricket then was like life, entertainment and necessity with legends like sachin, dravid, wasim, waqar, gilly, jayasurya, warne, murali, kallis, flintoff, etc now it has become a unforgettable memory for a cricket lover..
Adam Gilchrist & Matthew Hayden, The Best And The Most Destructive Opening Pair In The ODI History. This Opening Pair In ODI Helped Australia To Lift 1999, 2003 & 2007 ODI World Cups. Ricky Ponting Was Very Fortunate To Lead Such An Invincible Aussie Team
I wanna go back in time to 2000 and relive watching the best of cricket played by all these legendary players. The amazing and unbeatable australian team, legendary batting lineup of Indian team, well balanced teams of SA and Eng, Sri Lanka. Damn I miss those days :(
I’ve had the pleasure of watching some of the all time best batsmen play. Tendulkar, Lara, Border. My two favourites to watch live were Viv Richards and Gilly. You always knew you had the chance of seeing something really special, but it would always be exciting. There may have been better, but these two were the most entertaining to watch.
After watching this video now I feel how lucky I was to watch gilli playing live... Miss u legend... Cricket looks very boring since u left it........... Love nd respect from India.......... My all time fav hero ...... #Gilli
The great thing about Gilchrist is even though he loves and prefers playing attacking cricket, he has very good technique to handle pace bowling when needed. And pointing and Clarke to tackle spinners no matter how good they are. And with hussey and Bevan along with symonds and martyn to perfectly compete a batting order which is just a bowler's worst job to bowl at when on song. And McGrath, lee, Gillespie, Bichel, kasperwicz, warne and McGill to form the bowling department which was just as good the batting make this the best and the most balanced team after the mighty West Indies teams of 1970s. And their reserved players happened to be Mitchell Johnson, Simon Katich, Hayden, Darren Lehman, David hussey, white, Damien Fleming, Ian Harvey, tait and Shane Watson among several others...just beyond the best a team could be...really missing a team like this these days...
I know many reckon this was the greatest team but i grew up in the early 80's having to watch the might of the west indies destroy everyone...and back then every country had strong team.
This guy was savage, most explosive opener batsman in my opinion. With a batting opener like Gilchrist opener bowler like Brett lee and a fileder like Ricky Ponting this Aussie team was simply invincible. Miss those days! All teams were at their peak best!
Many critics believe Adam Gilchrist is the greatest wicketkeeper/batsman to have played the game, but Adam's huge popularity does not rest solely on his incredible track record. To his millions of fans around the world, it is the way he plays the game - rather than simply the sum of his achievements - that marks him out as one of the best-loved cricketers of his generation. He is both a swashbuckling batsman and record-breaking wicketkeeper, yet perhaps his true impact has come from the manner in which he plays his cricket - with an integrity and sense of values that many thought had departed the game forever.
This is not his fluent innings. But watching Gilli's hundreds is always gives a positive energy to me. Because I love this man more than anyone in the game.
Respect to the English and Wales cricket board for posting this. Adam Gilchrist is one of the greatest one day, and test match batsmen (and wickies) ever. True legend
One of my favourite things about Gilly was that he rarely "slogged". He played proper cricket shots, with the occasional touch of unorthodoxy and a ridiculous amount of power and timing. And look at his company here! Hayden to start, then Ponting, then Martyn to finish. Three finer batsmen in the world you could hardly find. What a time this was.
@@geethanm6127 The first one can't play Tests a flat track bully, third one can't take a single wicket on a bowling friendly condition. Overrated media hyped players.
What a domination this team had in Cricket for over a Decade. I can’t imagine the sleepless nights, Disappointed & fear whenever India faced Australia. No Captain can conquer what Ricky pointing has done. Huge fan of Gilchrist❤
A rare batsman in the world of cricket who could swing his bat like a sword at any end of the field 🔥🔥 Ever since I understood cricket, Sangakkara and Gilchrist have been my favorite players in my life ❤️❤️ Love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩❤️
2k kid : Who is this ?🙄🙄 90s kid : He is the true gentleman😎😎 in Aus team in 3 World cups.... 2k kid :🧐🧐 His Name? 90s kid : Fearless Opener Gilli.... 🤩🤩😍😍
A era of cricket from the best AUS team I have ever witnessed, some ppl would argue that the West Indies were the best back in there day , but for me , this was the best and most consistent winning team I have ever seen , very rarely did they lose. When they did it was a shock. These days , the Aus team are almost a joke.
Damon Salvatore When Pak lost There Were Good Names In Aus Team Such As Warner Smith And Others e.t.c And By The Way Ind have losts Against Aus As Pak so Don't Say That
Sir Clive Loyd team in 70’s and this Ricky Ponting team both were out of this world. They have given too much to this beautiful game of Cricket. Nothing but respect!
