I remember watching this episode on TV when it came out - is one of the best pieces of television I have seen in my entire 54 years on the planet. And I’ve seen A LOT of tv! He was so star-struck and she was so beautiful and gracious and that food looked so amazing...just feel good all the way around. ❤️

I've had the pleasure of meeting and eating at Gladys Knight's restaurant at Stonecrest Mall in Lithonia, Georgia. Very nice and sweet in person. The chicken and waffles were off the chain

@KTV 4U No. it’s that you need to understand what he wrote (Also I don’t speak Swahili but, Foo to you as well my little foreign buddy and namaste). He was saying that they had chicken and other food items on a particular food link(another word for chain and is ironically a piece of a chain). I know that because although he enjoyed the meal, he saw that the food came off the chain. Get Rosetta Stone bro it helps, I know you’re a proud new US citizen, but you must learn the way we speak in this country before you attempt to claim it as your own. Foo Foo my brotha, Foo Foo❤️🙏🏼

Class is not making sure those "below" you know their place but you sugar coat it. Mrs. Gladys Knight is 75 years young, has millions of dollars in the bank and she'll stop what she's doing, step up to the front lines and cook Adam some chicken and waffles. That right there is true class. I think that was a surreal time for Adam.

The the IRS came to the restaurant and arrested him he was arrested for tax evasion and paying people under the table he went to prison for how long I don't know but what I do know is that Gladys bailed her son out of jail and then she took him to court over her last name she won the case and took her name down because of what he did and I can't say I blame her for after all that is her last name because she's a singer singer and songwriter she had a lot of hits which I listen to back when I was a kid but look it up on Google and you'll see what I mean.

Best thing about man vs food is he would pig out AND do food challenges and that’s besides being the first or biggest channel of this kind. Sometimes the pigging out was better than the challenges other times the challenge was better. What’s boring about food challenges to me is you already know how much they can eat so no more than 6.5 pounds and that’s it. Once you know that it’s whatever, but Adam always had some unexpected shit going on

That's partially why she wanted her name removed from the restaurant since it was her son they were after. From what I heard, two of the three restaurants have been shut down and the last one was renamed to "World's Famous Chicken and Waffles"
