From the first time I heard Adam sing, which was on American Idol, I thought he was absolutely, without a doubt, one of the most gifted male singers I had ever heard. I still do!!
Ok so I've heard lots of great singers whose voices give me chills but Adam's voice is the only one that gives me chills before he even sings a word. My God, he's just mesmerizing.
My Lord I love Adam Lambert's singing! His talent blows me away! He fits into not just one genre. He can sing anything and makes it rock or melt the lyrics of any soul sound, what a gift he is!
In my opinion - Adam Lambert is one of the top 5 BEST, MOST Diverse Singers EVER. I’ve never heard him sing a song that made me feel “No, that song isn’t for him”.
one of the many things that I appreciate about Adam is his enunciation, he does not embelish lyrics, you can understand every word he sings, but with such emotion...that is a gift, he is so talented!
That's usually the finishing touch for me with artists that become my favorites. I have a lot of artists I like that have a great voice, style, etc. My favorites are the ones that hit those points and I can understand them clearly.
I have listened to Marc Martel and Kris Allen and I honestly believe that they don't have the strength to match Adam's vocal range. I've never heard anyone like him.
His tribute to Cher at the Kennedy Center was the most incredible performance I've ever seen!!! What a talented, gifted entertainer! Like combining the theatrics of Meat Loaf with the powerful voice of Pavarotti!!! Love it!
Adam Lambert is a freak of freaks of nature for sure. It's not about his Octave rage it's how effortless and how well he can control it. He is always in control and never seem to struggle with the song. He's highly professional and the voice is always prepared. He can literally out sing anybody on stage live.
I just love the way Adam steps back to give Leona the stage to showcase her talent. He also does this with Brian May - it's almost choreographed to give the person who is singing/playing an instrument their moment. Very few entertainers are willing to give up the spotlight for another. [Edited spelling]
@@sueshankland3748 😊 Very unappreciated- when the new documentary drops on about him and Queen... April I wonder what people will think. I think he's the music industry's dark hose( which is ironic when you know his story). He will be an important - probably polarizing name later on. No one seems to have realise that... or is that just me?😛haha oh well. I won't need to watch it cause I know all I need to know...haha
As I’ve said from the beginning, “Adam Lambert”, should have won American Idol. He didn’t win the show, but he won the GLORY of the world and QUEEN! What an entertainer!
He's a true international superstar. Which idol have international appeal n can sell out all their concerts in Europe n Asia and around the world, and also be the frontman/Phoenix of Queen? Idol should have a 'World Idol' category and just hand the award to Adam.
2:50 it's incredible how it was a sweet, slow and lamenting song up to that point, and then he immediately gave it an incredible edge and energy while keeping it sad with that wailing... He's phenomenal.
certainly was an incredible performance & at 2:50 - well that was Adam doing Adam, no one else on this planet could have pulled that off in this song !
I have listened to Marc Martel and Kris Allen and I honestly believe that they don't have the strength to match Adam's vocal range. I've never heard anyone like him.
+Cheryl Lindsey Ok, I've watched this like a thousand times which means only one thing - we need to show this to other people. 1600 views is clearly not enough for a masterpiece like this. =D
+Cheryl Lindsey I simply can NOT stop watching and/or listening to the good quality MP3's other Glamberts have been posting on Twitter and Facebook! BTW: I basically loathe country music...but this, well, this song will NOT get out of my mind any time soon. Adam's facial expressions are so magnificent...his gentle-yet-powerful tenor delivery, is such a wonderful harmony with Leona's strong vocals!!
Three years later and I’m still watching this video for an Adam “fix”. He’s so mesmerizing. Between his beautiful voice and gorgeous face...I can’t get enough. And that over the top, perfectly executed run near the end...wow!
I’m in my later 60’s and Adam is my favorite singer! I still listen to his pre-Idol performances on BROADWAY, his Graduation, Idol and Queen performances. I hope one of these days I can see him in person!!! ❤️
He looks so sweet and young here. Reminds me of how he looked in his Idol audition. Adam Lambert has a hell of a gift and knows what to do with it. He can saaannngg!
After more than 8 years, Adams voice sound extraordinary. He is a perfect instrument, god made him with total care for us to enjoy and be surprised every time he opens his mouth...
Love Lambert's exquisite simplicity in his approach - leaving the fireworks for the end - beautifully done - (what's good to do is listen - without watching - just the vocals)
I have the biggest Adam Lambert crush on this planet. He is beautiful inside and out, but his talent is from another galaxy. He is totally outstanding. I could watch this on replay all day 24/7. (Blush, doing that now...). The most beautiful man on earth.
What a great comment. Freddie was No. 1 on my list of dead singers because I still had George as my No. 1 alive. Then he died and I didn't know what to do or compare anyone else to him. Adam has elements of both of them. He looks very reminiscent of George here. Also Leona Lewis was our UK winner of X Factor some years ago...
I had a reply to my post, but I cant find it, so here's my answer. Roddy McDowell is not who I meant. Sorry, I'm old and I sometimes fuck.up! I meant RONNIE McDowell, a country singer, who has provided the voice for Elvis on film pretty much ever since Elvis died, per Priscilla. Her favorite impersonation was when Kurt Russell played him in a tv movie in 79ish, and yes Ronnie was the singing voice. There was a tv show in the 90s/early2000s about elvis as a teenager. Ronnie was the singing voice. Trivia here: Russell was the (uncredited) Elvis voice in Forrest Gump.
God Adam is gorgeous and there are really no words to describe the tone of his voice it's so unique and incredible.. I saw him on tour with queen and we all thought it was one of the best concerts we've ever seen if not the best his vocals are insane
When I first heard her singing adam .. I do not believe that he has so many tones of voice Just listen to his latest album. For me, Adam is either the best singers in the world and I do not hide from listening to his songs everyday. He is a man with a great sense of humor. Who agrees?? Like or comment
+withoutface the evolution of Adam is apparent in all of his three albums... I mean just look at how more intimate and personal his song's are getting each time he releases a new one! Amazing vocals plus gorgeous face plus intelligence, humor. Who wouldn't agree he's one of the best?
Saw Adam this summer with Queen, and even though I'm a huge Freddie Mercury fan, Adam would have made Freddie proud. For all the Queen only with Freddie diehards out there, give him a chance. He handles the Queen catalog almost effortlessly and doesn't ever shy away from hitting the highest of high notes with ease. The best sounding concert I think I've ever heard. Amazing show. If you love Queen, don't let those songs die with Freddie, they deserve to live on forever.
I'm still watching this performance. Love the blues notes Adam adds to convey emotion. He really sang this flawlessly, everything is perfect, but that "I wanna drown myself in a bottle of her perfume" is why he's not just a singer - he is an astonishing artist, who has truly mastered the art of singing. His techniques and performances need to be taught in music schools, seriously, nobody does it all like he does. He can even sing country!
I've been obsessed with Adam's incredible voice and stage presence since his very first American Idol audition. Never missed a show or any televised performance of his since... In all of my 60 years, I have never been so pulled in by someone... I LOVED Freddie Mercury and I am SO grateful to Adam for continuing Freddie's legacy! I also greatly appreciate Adam's personal artistry and fabulous personality. He seems like a great guy and I always feel like giving him a warm, *Mom hug*!
@Adam lambert Adam, I LOVE your music... your voice is HEAVEN! I'd like to be notified if you're going to be performing in NYC or NJ... I live just outside of Manhattan, and I can't TELL you what a DREAM it would be to listen to you in PERSON! Not asking any favors... just a heads-up so I can purchase tickets! ❤️😘🎼🎵🎶🎤
Me too, another amazing singer. She aced every song she sang when she was on the talent show in UK. She’s so shy & humble which is very refreshing considering these days so many are conceded!
These days, he is looking a bit "well stuffed"; easy to understand, weight gain is pretty natural in the land of plenty. And it looks like he has been eating.....plenty.
Bo Al-sharef I think the only other person in this entire planet who is a better singer than these 2 is Carrie underwood outside of a singing competition
Carrie better than Adam...seriously? Have you ever seen Adam live? I have four times...NO ONE has the voice he does along with the performance quality...which is off the charts. Add to this he doesn't need or use auto-tuning....Check out his version of Wanna Whole Lot of Love from Foxwood CA...on youtube...it is nothing short of spectacular.
