There are a lot of extreme sports that are underrated. These guys here are extremely skilled but its minimal risk. I'm surprised it hasnt become more popular too
You've got to feel sorry for Adam Raga. Possibly the second best trials rider to have ever lived and if he had been born at any other time he would be multiple world champion. Unfortunately for him he finds himself competing against Toni Bou who is the best there has ever been.

I’ve watched trials for years and ridden dirt bikes and all that for the same, but every time I watch it, it makes zero sense how any of this is possible. It almost looks unnatural how they manipulate their machines with such precision.

These guys that compete in this sport are imo the pinnacle of riding abilities. I don't even like dirt bikes that much but these guys are freakin amazing! I love watching them do their thing.
Seen a guy do this at city of rocks Idaho when I was a kid !!! He rode up and down bathtub rock on the steep side like it was nothing. Bunny hopping on the tiniest ledge 80 feet up very impressive!!!
Toni Bou first had a motorcycle at the age of four and has never stopped practising ever since. He now has won 34 world championships, 17 indoors and 17 outdoors. The guy is out of this world.
I had ridden these bikes in the 70s 250cc 2 stroke Bultacos oder also Montesas. They had mostly 6 gears. On the street they were slow, but in Catalunyas wilderness they made of fun to ride. There were also enduros, named Ossa with up 350 cc 2stroke.

This is my favorite motorcycle comp style of all. I raced quads because that’s what I had. Not a big Trials riding area even though there are tons of great places here in WV.
It's all about the bike at that level. 4 stroke has better traction. They both have perfect and almost identical technique, but Bou gets just those few percent more traction from his bike. I am sure if you switch the riders, the Montesa 4rt wil continue winning.
