I had always seen 100 grand bars as a kid but had never had one. Then in 6th grade i won one for something in class and got a snack size one. Ever since then they've been one of my favorites candy bars.

Shame they bought up Rowntree's (Kit Kats, Lions, Smarties etc. were all invented in York, England). Skittles are also British acquired by a foreign company, but I don't think Mars is as heinous as Nestlé (and have a long history in Britain as well, having invented a lot of their products there, including the Mars bar).
