I think in this case, you need to factor in that Reid and Kelly were four weeks out of the game. Realistically it is going to take a week, or two weeks for you to find fitness and for things to click. Yeo probably was not his usual self either. I imagine he has had to do a lot of things which meant he could not prepare for the game as he normally would have done.

Not only the coach but the list management team need to go. Their list is not as good as they believe... passing on Harry Sheezel was criminal and some of the older players still on the list are frankly well past their use by date. Darling should have been sent to the twos a month ago. How Duggan ever became captain is a mystery.. in my eyes he should have been told this was his last year and he would probably finish it in the WAFL. Sheed, Duggan, Darling and Gaff should all be told this week that its over for them and their replacements should spend the rest of the season bedding in. Look, they have been GREAT servants of the club, Spartans one and all, but their time has come. Nobody beats father time.

Disgusting effort, bitterly disappointing

It was the second possession after the clearance that killed us. The actual midfielders are really trying in the guts. It's the second possession from the clearance that destroys us and today Hawthorn scored like seven or eight goals from our Back half very much what Essendon did last week we simply don't put enough pressure on the opposition when we don't have the footy we are okay when we have the footy sometimes but you got to actually put pressure on the opposition when you don't have the footy there's only ever three phases of football. They have it or we have it or it's in dispute and if you pour it all three then you get beaten and today we were poor at all. Three of those phases. We couldn't win the football. We couldn't retain it when we had it and we couldn't get it off them when they had it and this is what, I would like to see the kids. in Jack Williams for Jack Darling bring some of these these kids in the WAFL. I'm not one of those fans that says we need to sack the coach and we need to carry on what we need to do is get harder and that's more physical at the contest. WAFL .... Bring the kids in let's be brave. We need draft picks anyway so we don't need to win games. We just need to be competitive.
