kinda sad that liking the saw franchise isn't even one of my more questionable movie takes Plugz: If you wanna follow my other accounts ig: / romanonthemoon twitter: / romanonthemoon
Lawrence staring at Adam so intensely and nodding like "Yeah. _YES._ This will DEFINITELY work" when he pretends to die is so stupid and awesome lmao they share one braincell
@@notBrocker Yeah but Gordon had a family whom he supported even though he cheated on his wife. Meanwhile Adam hated his life and was a stalker. Dr. Gordon surviving was good. But I did like Adam Stanheight, he was a cool guy.
@@BatteryDisco yeah matts theory isn't gonna change my mind, Adam is dead full stop, it wouldn't even make sense for him to be alive and it not be used as a plot point or revealed in the series like why havw him survive and it not be made clear or ever referenced officially in the series
It’s because Adam had personality and was hilarious. He was a good contrast with Gordon. The later Saw films went for more serious mode protagonists or even worse completely forgettable ones.
Idk why but Adam reminds me so much of Jesse Pinkman. They add so much dynamic to other characters as well. I love them both. I still get sad about Adam’s fate.
not to mention the part where lawrence gets off the phone after finding out his wife and daughter were being held hostage and adam is just sitting there and goes "so are they okay?😶"
I loved Adam. "This is the most fun I've had without lubricant!" Damn, I love his sense of humor, lmao!! It's one of the things I loved about his character. 1:46 hahaha!!
@@Earlycaven2 I think in some scenes it sounds fine and in others you can tell. He’s gotten better at it over the years since Saw was initially released
They can’t bring him back for multiple reasons. 1st, the actor (who wrote the movie) doesn’t want to do it. 2nd they killed him off before the movies made the rules and decided that his death was to iconic for the series to undo. (He wasn’t supposed to die originally it was a up in the air) Saw was never supposed to have sequels I kind of wish they never refereed to these two again, as the idea of did gordan make it or did the killer catch him on? Was so much better then Gordan joined the killer and fucked over the man who saved his life
@@ShukaHusk wat r u talkin about and who tf is jesse i'm not saying i'm attracted to him i'm saying that i want my gender to look like his wat r u not getting here i want his gender
I just watched Saw for the first time the other night and I'm so glad there's such an appreciation for Adam in this movie. He was easily the best part. Currently on 3 and I was happy to see him back, even with no lines. :)
I’m still watching these movies, I’m only about to watch Saw III. But right from the first one, without even rewatching the movies, I loved Adam. He seemed like a great character, and he definitely is on the list of my favorite horror movie characters and possibly my favorite character in the Saw series. I was really sad that he was left like that.
i’m so glad other people love adam as much as i do. ever since i watched saw for the first time i fell in love with adam, and i think he deserved so much better.
I thought Leigh, Cary, and Tobin were AWESOME in this film. Tobin legit played the corpse the entire time during production. No body double, no dummy. All Tobin.
I admit his acting wasn't always the best but he came thru when it mattered. He was very funny and likable and totally sold the ending terror when Gordon cuts off his foot.
@Wylder Watkins not rlly sure, i love horror movies and when i saw saw was becoming popular with my generation i decided to give it a try and i loved it
I’m sorry but he’s a biological male, you will never look like him as his maleness goes down to each cell in his body. You may try though, best of luck
The first time I watched Saw and witness Adam die in the most sad way made me cry for real, his death was straight up injustice man, I was so heartbroken.
@@pantheraatrox4653 he won because he was suppose to survive and get the key, John was gonna let him out but he was reviving Gordon, by the time he was helping Gordon Amanda killed him
@@AstralBlitz360In that sense I don’t understand why Gordon was allowed to stay alive despite cutting his foot and crawling away. His task was to kill Adam which he didn’t do. It’s interesting as it opens to other theories of Adam still being Alive and taking pictures for Jigsaw since he was a photographer
@@sarasalone3060 John was probably gonna put Gordon in another test since Zepp didn’t kill him, but since Adam died Gordon basically completed his task.
What bothers is me we never know why Adam was tested. What was the purpose behind his test. I read somewhere Adam was suppose to be able to roam around the bathroom freely since John Kramer wanted to provide him the key but Amanda tampered with the game itself , we never find out why he was tested. It remains a mysterious the whole Saw series.
It was because of his line of work, but also because the detective hired him to spy on Gordon, one of the suspects. So he was meddling in the games and needed to be taken out. 🤷🏻♀️
The truth is, this movie was made before the idea of saw having more going on. It was supposed to be up in the air including why. Adam was just there for gordan the main character.
Best characters in the entire franchise, not gonna lie! Adam should've survived!! They both would've been great partners!! I would love to see it!! Dr Gordon and Adam!!!
“This is what they do they kidnap you and before you know it your kidneys are on eBay” “Nobody took your kidneys…” “How can you tell from all the way over there?”
It’s crazy to be a fan of Leigh Whannell as a person and also a fan of Saw 2004 and Adam in particular. He fucking disappears into this role, even though it was his first acting job EVER, so much so that I have trouble thinking that it’s Leigh whenever I watch it.
