The booking for lord of the board was great. We had Adam the well known heel and Brooke an up and coming face working through the tournament through her own skill. Good performance by everyone involved, I would totally watch lord of the board live

My favorite part of this series has been how everyone has a mental break down right before losing like it’s an Ace Attorney game.

This was a nicely cohesive villain story. Adam cheated his way to the final where he was losing early on and tried to run away and wait for brooke to exhaust herself to death but only for that to backfire on him at the end.

Spoiler, but I think we can all agree . . . . . . . . . . . . This is the most Adam thing that could have happened. Congrats Brooke! Great game, great tournament, looking forward to next time!

No spoilers…. but the wrap up at the end by the winner was the cherry on top of the whole tournament cake. Bravo! Congrats to the well-deserved winner, and commiserations to the LOSER, that had to hurt.

We have a CHAMPIONNNN!!! All hail the Lord of the Board! Spoilers Congratulations Brooke!! Honestly, I don't think anyone deserves it more. Her scrappy style has been producing the consistently most entertaining matches throughout the tournament to me! Now to the victor go the spoils! A prestigious sceptre and crown which I hope she'll wear to every BGC the rest of the year as well as the fair hand of Sullivan! So sweet that Blair got her revenge at last. :P

My introduction into NRB was the Clocktower videos. I’m a huge fan of the game, and what you guys put out was probably the best Clocktower play-by-play I’ve seen, so I found myself watching them the day they came out. This eventually transitioned into watching the Lord of the Board games, and this turned out to be a very good decision because you guys blew it out of the water. Everyone involved - the editors, the players, the commentators, the folk who set up the lighting, equipment and backdrops, did a stellar job. Lord of the Board was a very entertaining and dramatic watch. A couple of highlights/thoughts- Brian Children and Trudi Trotters were an excellent comedic duo who really enhanced the experience, and bounced off each other to great effect. Rosie especially seemed to be playing something quite different to her normal self, which was cool. Laurie is a really smart dude. It seems like he can pick up and master game rules super quickly, and is a very formidable player. I was rooting for Adam. After the brutality of the win/lose chalkboard, I was fully on board with his quest to prove he is good at board games. Everyone involved in this seems nice. And that’s nice.

That was so good. The whole tournament was fantastic. The drama, the stakes, the commentary. Such a blast.

I would love nothing more than if, somehow, Brooke forgot to take 1 point of damage at point, meaning that, if Adam had caught it, it would have meant that Adam won. It would have been perfect poetic justice if Brooke won against Adam for a similar reason why Adam won against Blaire, considering how big of a fuss he made about it. Lol

Such an incredible tournament! Tears were shed, dreams were shattered, laughs were chuckled, victories were clutched from the jaws of defeat, friends became enemies, enemies became even more bitter enemies! And what a game to end on, with a nailbiting finale! Fantastic stuff from the NRB team and the Board Game Club Irregulars, and I can't wait for another tourney in the future! All hail our new Lord of the Board!
