I do not know who Adam 22 is, but I am familiar with AD and AD is a stand up guy in most situations and his reputation is really good in the East and the West. Most people that mention him do so in a positive way. I keep hearing about these comments about Adam 22 harming a series of young under age girls. He does not sound like a good dude.
