I use GreenStar by Koch Chemie cut 10:1 when I wash my wheels and tyres. One problem I have with the GreenStar is that it dries quickly on the surface, so I would need to move fast on the agitation before rinsing. The Adam's product appeared to stay wet for much longer, although I did notice the foam started to dry on the tyre eventually. It's always nice to see the BMW nice and clean again, I've always liked the colour of it. And I hope you enjoy your new bike!
Another great video Martin. I'm always wary of which cleaners to use on diamond cut alloys and prefer to coat the wheels and then just use shampoo, but this looks like a good option for those times when you can't fit a wash in to your schedule and have to tackle a couple of weeks worth of grime.
Exactly the same as me Tom. Its I said in the video with coated wheels & the use of a wheel sealant after every wash you will only need a shampoo. I will use the Adams on other peoples wheels that are not well maintainedi
Hi Martin. I have not tried any of the Adam's range but I probably would have done so had I not found Mitchell & King. Funnily enough today was the first chance I had to get my car done after our road trip up North for a wedding then did a short section of The North Coast 500 and various road trips along the Moray Firth coast. I have never seen my wheels looking so bad and it was giving me nightmares but I had a bottle of M&K Rim V3 that I had not tried so I teamed it up with M&K Wheel Shampoo and Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions wheel & tyre cleaner which I only use as a deep cleaner for my tyres when I am doing a 6 monthly deep clean or when they are extra dirty. Rim V3 is a really good product not that I am surprised but my wheels came up a treat and the M&K Armour wheel sealant was still repelling water when I rinsed off my wheels. I did grab M&K Endurance but time ran away with me a bit as the wheels were so dirty and she who lives indoors was wanting me to accompany her to do a shopping trip for food so I put it back on the shelf for another day with John's latest luxury wax Summire also waiting for a first try on my car. The Adam's product seemed to work well and your wheels are back to pristine condition as they usually are. Maybe your next video you could give us a wee glimpse of your new pride and joy.
Sounds like you've been busy John and a fair bit of travelling. you really need to make time for Endurance though. As for the bike check out this link www.youtube.com/@My_bike_and_me
@@ObsessiveCarDetailer Endurance is next product to try as I think I have 3 bottles un opened that I have collected in various kits I bought. I subbed on your bike channel. I forgot to say that I tried a bottle of the Gyeon Tyre cleaner a couple of years ago which did the same as the Adams and reacted immediately with the tyre and turned brown. To be fair the TW product is really good also and there is usually a deal on it somewhere.
@@johnbrown3951 Thanks for the sub John, appreciated👍 3 bottles?? John once you use it you will be asking the same question as I did. "Why have I not used this before". I have applied a ceramic coating on my bike and hope to treat it to a coat of Endurance in the next day or two
With them two products on the shelf Patrick, no point in changing. As for Adams, I am yet to be disappointed with their offerings & their shampoo is just so slick
Good to see M&k chief tester going rogue on Adams products ! lol 😂 my m&k order came this week looking forward to using it. Lovely little video Martin thanks. What do you use to clean your steering wheel ? Looking for that natural matt leather finish. Cheers 😊 ps you said new bike bigger ! Has it got a side car !!! 😂❤
🤣, alway good to go rogue Robert. I mostly use LRC leather cleaner & protection. Although most leather cleaners will do. A side car now that's an idea, would make a couple of great videos
Maybe Im just a cynical old git Ross but they seem to me as yet another detailing industry rip off. Too expensive a bit like anything with the word detailing in it just like the buckets.
Hello Martin, great video, the product works very well on your wheel and tyre, soon took the dirt off the rubber,my wheels are probably worse than yours being black 😂.
That looks a great product Martin!, I’m the same as you preferring a wheel shampoo now but that looked well lubricated for a few sprays to clean the main part of the wheel , I’m just not going to buy it cause it’s ready to use, principles 😅
yep more expensive way to clean the wheels Graeme. I want to see how good it is on wheels that are not as well maintained as mine. I might have to knock on a couple of doors in the street
@@Ludo_A I’m just in the process of putting the video together. It’s taking me longer than normal as I’ve been away but it won’t surprise you that it’s a 2024 Lowrider ST
Hello Simon, it depends on if I’m in a hurry or not. If I have the time to do the job properly I use Mitchell & King Armour, it’s a dedicated wheel sealant designed to perform in high temperature environments like wheels. If I’m stretched for time and just doing a quick wash then I use any spray on rinse off sealant close to hand
@@bobbypurewall1468 thank you, very much appreciated but I’m too old to do detailing for a living and I’m enjoying retirement too much. Have a look through any of my videos and just drop me a comment on any questions i will always get back to you 👍
@@ObsessiveCarDetailer yea quick question if I can ask your opinion please. Can you please let me know your 3 favourite paste waxes or you favourite waxes period. Thank you. If you could make a video that would be great.
