hello i am BAITMAN (seeking help in research in ethics) thing i wanna clarify few points first English is technically 3rd language isliye mera pronunciation kharab hai has lo jisko hasna hai, i am no rational being (some time i can give logic sometime i cant, this is the reason i want to do master in Philosophy with my focus on ETHICS and learn some logic) my point of view is by providing education we can eradicate problem of social discrimination like caste system. By this i believe we can create for classless society, i know by doing this (research) it cant be solved it is not magic that i publish a paper and everyone from GOVT will work on it, i just wanna do my part of speaking up which we are lacking in society. i am willing to learn and am seeking help. My target is to point out flaws in education system of India by producing evidence based study using Mathematics, Ethics and simple logic. RANT PART: Flaws in Education System that have been identified by MANY PEOPLE not my unique findings: - People use forged certificates of BACKWARD CATEGORY to get RESERVATIONS to get admissions in colleges, grab a JOB, people with reservations also get faster promotions in JOB and many more perks are availed by such people. - People forge certificate of LOW INCOME OF FAMILY to get scholarship schemes that are meant for poor people and are wasting FUNDS issued by Government and Ministry of Education. - People of our parents generation (1950s-1980s) are not open minded and forces their children with SCIENCE, MATHEMATICS and COMMERCE only (not the case for all but happens in general), they think this will easily land their children a JOB but this is not case in INDIA as of now. It was but in early 1980s to early 2010s job market is saturated to its brim. This action taken by the said generation has over populated field of STEAM in INDIA. - If u have a Job in IT company just or any steam related field just take a walk to a chai walla below your office building he is earing about the same as you without any education, what kind of system we have landed our self into that we spent like 3 to 4 million rupee on education from child hood to end considering private education. - People, companies are banking on this overpopulated sector and are rinsing the middle class and lower upper class of their money as they are spending it on worthy education for their child. These people include BOOK publishers, Hostel providers, COACHING institutes etc. Below Poverty line or labor class is out of this equation they cant afford such education. Yes it is true a child of labor class person clears UPSCs and all such exams but they are like catching a "lightning bolt in a bottle". - Why is Government not regulating this Coaching market of INDIA. How can a Institute say that your child will land into IITs, NITs, AIIMSs etc. the number of seats in Engg. colleges of such reputation are 25,000 in counting IITs and NITs not going to talk about MED field because do know much about them. And have AUDACITY to intake like 2 Million students for such preparations how the fuck all these 2 million get into colleges which have capacity of 25,000. - Why poor people are not sending their kids to free govt school and asking them to beg on the streets. ETC ETC currently i don't have any proper contact info will make a telegram account and will drop the username if anyone wanna help

Dude there is absolutely no use in doing philosophy in India. Go abroad (USA/ Canada preferably) and try to show your ideas there

@@sarthakkgangwani762 I know this is a stupid idea and this will not feed me well and maybe in 15 years i will curse myself of taking such steps but as of now I want to do something for the country i was born in I don't wanna show my ideas to USA they are already in a downward spiral from my point of view and i feel their is hope that India can do better. thanx for replying to my "bina sir paair ki bate".

@@baitman69 oh I’m not doubting you should do something for our country. Problem is every country needs a different skillset. First a country needs to get rich and only then can it afford questions which you are proposing. There is absolutely 0 budget given to what you want to do in India and only way is to go to JNU and be a politician after that. ( which I highly doubt you’ll like) Trust me when I say this as a big brother, but you will regret on this decision of yours and will be looking back to this moment with sadness. Last thing, you’re saying USA is on a downward spiral, but it still has the number 1 median income but if you don’t like American culture , go to Canada it’s best of both worlds.

My BJP supporter friend literally defended the banning of BBC's documentary on Modi saying "It's an internal matter, India ki image internationally kharab hogi"

You cannot decide if academic study of ethics is valuable or not, it is a requirement for any real development.

1:04:07 Mehnad seems like one of those positivity dudes here. Hey, suffering exists whether you choose to acknowledge it or not, and it is so unevenly distributed across the socio-political-economic spectrum, that you would have to be bourgeois not to acknowledge it and just say "it's a choice". Suffering is not a choice, and the rhetoric of pretending it is, is neglecting serious problems with a system that justifies it.

I think utilitarianism is 100 times better in coming to a good judgement than anti utilitarian ones. The anti-utilarian argument of Soren can be taken to justisfy the existing system. The anti-utilitarians can justify inaction or worse continuance of the existing injustices of the Government or powerful agencencies in support of the few Rich against many poor people. After all why would you change any policy that may endenger life of few Rich people suffering from some rare disease and save lives of millions of poor Africans dying of curable but highly frequent diseases. Think from the perspective of policies and making rules or writing softwares, not you actually pulling the trigger.

The problem is that an industrialist can also say he is cutting off forests because of its practical utility. So utilitarianism isn't sufficient to arrive at moral conclusions.
@biswarupbhatacharjee6537
@biswarupbhatacharjee6537 Год назад
@@vimoh I think , If you think long term, cutting forests endengers the lives of many more people all over the planet for many generations compared to the benefits of say one city. If you can do proper cost benefit analysis , nobody can beat utilitarianism. It is not always possible I agree, but we should not throw away the whole endeavour of arriving at correct cost benefit analysis. May be we can discuss this next saturday.
