15:33 "I'm babbling" "I always think about this stuff". This is why after years of following this channel I have never unsubscribed even if I don't watch all the videos all the time. Likes to talk about it BUT thinks about it deeply, and not just talk to hear his own voice. Still surprised this is such a small channel after all these years. I attribute it to a calm relaxed nature and an understated personality that isn't as bombastic and jumps out at people like the bigger "martial artist RU-vidrs".
So I was wondering if you wouldn't mind doing a video on some effective response training. By this I mean different ways to help improve ones response when close up to your opponent.
Sure Joey , i am gonna release a clip couple weeks , giving some brief example of what I talk about in the clip, how an older person can use some tools to protect himself
@@adamchankungfu thank you. I enjoy your clips they are very insightful. I have had a few surgeries on my knee so it has taken a lot to get back to shape. Your videos have helped
I wish they were more pragmatic martial artist out there like you who aren't trying to sell bullshit to make money! Even the marketing crap that is presented before RU-vid videos that promises you to be a lethal fighter within days makes me laugh. What horseshit! A lot of the scenarios you mentioned and training qualities that people should aspire to, I think about also everyday. A lot of great points you make! It is sad to hear that like Bruce's JKD, non-classical gung fu is being misrepresented in some circles. Adam, just curious have you ever thought of putting out a book as more of a guide rather than a "how to" book? I know it would be redundant on a lot of what you have spoken about yet maybe in writing we could have grasp your perspective a little better. Just a thought. Also is there any chance that a reprint of your first book in hard copy could come about😁?
