Hi, @gmatclub thanks so much for the amazing work that you do. Finding your site and videos has really improved my approach to my application process. I know this is late but I've noticed that a lot of your videos are focused on MBA programs whereas your Website includes Msc programs(Msc finance, MiM, etc), it'll be really amazing if you could include Msc Programs in your videos. Also could you include schools in the UK schools like Imperial and Warwick. I've looked through your videos and I'm not seeing much on them.

Her vibe is so good ...it made me buy YT premium.... amazing content though

Thank you!!! I'm not really on YT premium, but if you liked this video, there's a LOT more where that came from at ApplicantLab.com ! I have tons of videos in there, especially for the top MBA programs.. for H/S/W in particular, I've got well over an hour+ each on each school, and, since I'm *not* using the video to try to persuade you into buying an expensive package, I lay out ALL of my advice in the video (vs. holding stuff back, the way other consultants do with their marketing videos). Check out the Lab and let me know what you think!

With a seriously low GPA of 2.0 and a GMAT score of 720, does it become nearly impossible to get an interview call with colleges such as LBS?

is 3 years and 1 month of work exp upon matriculation too short? 4 years work exp seems to be the sweet spot but i'm very eager to go for MBA now. i'll have 2.5 years work exp at application. i'm targeting Columbia, NYU Stern, and INSEAD

It is about quality rather quantity…. Most schools require only 2. But it helps to have career progression and a trajectory line. Ideally you would have things to show on your résumé. Is it worse than it took you only 2 1/2 years to accomplish what some take three or four or five? I don’t think so 😎

I have my final interview with Simon MBA school tomorrow morning and I opted out of the gre/gmat because my GPA was above the threshold and I was told it was fine to do so when I initially spoke to an advisor/recruiter. Is this a knock on my chances of getting accepted? Also, is there a way to spin the fact that I did not have to submit a score so that I can still be considered a valuable candidate.
@gmatclub
@gmatclub 3 года назад
Good luck on your interview! The fact that you got invited to interview indicates the program finds you valuable. With some schools offering test waivers, you want to focus on other aspects of your profile and how you stand out there since you won’t be evaluated on a score. The interview will most likely be blind so the interviewer likely won’t know that you did not submit the score. I would probably not go there during the interview. Instead focus on strengths and your professional achievements and goals. 👍 -bb

Can you do a video on admission to European business schools?

Thanks for the suggestion. Are there any specific schools that you are looking for? e.g. INSEAD/LBS/IESE, etc or something more specific?

@Applicant Lab: What if you put in the time to innovate, and take initiative and even persuaded your boss to take up action, but he stepped down soon after the execution begun? The new boss had taken over and used my ideas without giving me the due credit. Can I, in any way, speak about the changes that were pitched and agreed to?

Ha ha! It's because the camera reverses things, which I keep forgetting, so I *think* I am pointing to the right-hand side of the screen, but sometimes it shows up on the other side! Either way, thankfully *most* people applying to top MBA programs are pretty smart and can figure out where the button is on their own, LOL! (at least, I hope so!!! If not, then even *I* won't be able to help 'em get in!!!) :)
