Thank the Gods! Someone finally created the perfect 2020 Rav 4 fuse replacement video and.........elaborated on all aspects of the replacement! PERFECT VIDEO!!!
Your explanation is perfect and exactly what I needed! I was beating my head into a brick wall with running a remote wire to my powered subwoofer. You are a scholar and a gentleman!
Does the amperage of the fuse for my accessory (raptor lights) need to match the amperage of the fuse for the slot I'm tapping into? ie. top slot of the pig tail has a 10 amp fuse for the accessory, and the bottom slot has the 7.5 amp fuse from the USB2 slot.
I Have the Rav4 Hybrid XSE 23, I installed my grill lights and tapped into the USB fuse.. BUT my issue is, I don't want to always have it on when I have the car on, I want to be able to turn it on/off like I do with the fog or headlamps... How can I do that??
I want to tap LED lights at the bottom of driver's and passenger's front that turn off when you close the doors on RAV4 2019 Limited. Which fuse I can use? Thank you
Hi there, I want to add the raptor light on my RAV4, so I trying to use the usb1 so the fuse tap is going in other direction because In front of its block from tap in? So in this case is there and proper way to put in the fuse ?
Is is necessary to make adding accessories safer for the wire. What you use it for will vary based on the accessory you want to add. I cannot offer much help for adding aftermarket fog lights
Hi There, appreciate all the detailed clarification. it is understood that once we need to plug the pigtail into an existing fuse slot with fuse installed, we need to unplug the existing fuse and then put it on the bottom fuse slot of pigtail with the add-on-fuse on the top fuse slot of pigtail. following the principle, is it correct when I plug the pigtail into an unoccupied fuse slot (without fuse in it), then I just only add the aftermarket add-on-fuse on the top fuse slot of pigtail while leaving the bottom fuse slot of pigtail intact ? Please advise and many thanks ahead.
Hi, thanks for all the videos. Do you know which fuse is for the head lights or frog lights? I want to attach my raptors lights to one of those fuses. Thanks
Hi. I do not think you can tap into a head lamp or fog light through the fuse. The power is always on and it is controlled by a switch/relay so you need to go to the relay. (This is not easy). You can read the underside of the fuse box cover and it will say "FOG FR" where you will see fuse AND relay. For head lamp, look for "H-LP". The proper way is to add your own switch panel. You can tap into "USB" but that will turn on when the car is on (no control to turn off unless car is off).
Do i have to install the 7.5 fuse that you removed in the add a fuse slot? So there will be two fuse the add a fuse? One us the original fuse that you removed and the other one us the after market that come with?

I want to add some aftermarket interrior lights but I don't want the on during the day so I was thinking to hook it up when the headlights are on. Is this possible? I have the LE model
@@Rav4Gen5 sorry I was referring to my raptor lights. I reached out to the company and they are sending me a new set. I had a problem with the wire that connects to the raptor light.
@@Rav4Gen5 I have a 2021 R4P XSE and there are no USB fuses in the engine bay fuse box. I have yet to find a suitable alternative for an accessory fuse tap. Any recommendations?
