For used tanks I've used dry ice, it's frozen carbon dioxide. Put a couple of chunks in the tank before drilling the hole.

If anyone is using the 19-355 Sniper universal double pumper fuel module and you need a steel shim, a GM 200-4R forward clutch steel plate will work fine. The ID and the OD is perfect. 😁

Will the new unit not fit into the stock location? Do you need to plug the lines to the original unit?

I just installed this pump. The bolts for the hold downs in my opinion will be a problem in the future They use a very small Allen head bolt into an aluminum lug. If this gets any corrosion it will be very difficult or impossible to remove the pump without cutting the bolts.

Question. I have a 93 Ford E150 5.8L Club Wagon Van 5.8l EFI. Can i hook up a in line/exTernal fuel pump to the wiring of the pump in the tank since is already hooked up to the fuse BOX,and how?

Mine is failing the pump regulator stopped working and gauge is now pegged out over 100 psi just 500 miles and past the 90 day warranty.

Does this fuel pump need any fuel pressure sensor? I am running a 6.2 L92 with terminator x in my 1952 Ford Sunliner. I am trying to lign out everything i need for fuel.

The math on cutting the tubes is all wrong! You need to reduce the length of the tubes by the difference between your depth and 12 inches. For example: My tank depth is 10.5 inches. If I used the 12-10.5=1.5 inches of tubing as indicated in the instructions, I'd cut my tubes down to 1.5 inches and my pump would be suspended half way up my tank. I'd run out of gas at half a tank! What the instructions should say is: 12-10.5=1.5 inches of tubing to remove. The math in the instructions is totally wrong. I can only assume people with enough experience in working on cars figure that out.
