This is a continuation from the previous tutorial on how to set up your own FREE website using Google Sites. In this video, I will step through the process on adding a ADD TO CART button or a BUY NOW Paypal button to any website, whether it's with Google Sites, WIX, or Wordpress.
How to setup a Add To Cart Paypal Button:
1. Create a Paypal account. It's free. Everything in this video is free.
2. Go to developer.paypal.com and sign in
3. Create a New App in Sandbox Mode
4. Save the Client ID and Secret Key provided for use later
5. Go to paypal.com/buttons
6. Create a Add to Cart button
7. Follow the instructions to create the button
8. Copy the html code provided after creating the button
9. Create a View Cart Button
10. Use the button html codes in your website pages by editing the source code of your website

Oh man...this was so good, but apparently PayPal has removed the shopping cart functionality. So now you have to go through a third party. Im so bummed/annoyed. What's a good workaround? What do you recommend?

I like the smart buttons but I wish it would let you add a success check out page. So I guess I will have to stick to the regular buttons.

I have a question - it seems as though PayPal is eliminating the "Add to Cart" and "View cart" button options. You can't easily find the button page anymore, and it looks like they eliminated the Add to Cart button. Do you have any suggestions how to proceed to have an "Add to Cart" and "View cart" Option? I have built my website on WIX.

For some reason on my paypal account there is no ADD TO CART option. It says: You’ll have to use our trusted partner sites to add our “Buy Now,” “Add to Cart,” “Subscribe,” and “Auto-Billing” payment buttons to your platform." But when i click on trusted partner sites it takes me to the Paypal dashboard. I'm getting no where!

@@jarvisflies I just gave up and start using STRIPE instead. In the meantime PayPal ripped me off and kept some money that I had used to test the site. my client never received it! I can't believe they are allowed to do this.

Same here. What I discovered is my old accounts work but I when I created new accounts both personal and business neither work. Maybe Paypal really is going out of business.
