One of the best tasting fish ive ever had

pilchards on the west coast, mullet and pogeys on the east coast.

20 lb braid I hope. Get some 25-30 lb fluorocarbon leader (make 1.5 foot lengths appx.), 2/0 hooks, white bait or shrimp and you can catch just about anything inshore with that set-up. If you don't like live, get some DOA glow shrimp or mirr-o-lure or yo-zuri white body lures.

@grimreaper2843 yes, you can eat snook, but they have a very strict slot limit, and you can only keep them in certain months.
