The dial depicts what one would see if they were under the water and looking up towards the surface. Glad the ugly logo and text is not visible. I agree that a coloured ceramic bezel as an option would be great.
This looks fantastic! I just dropped a video on their white dial, and saw this one in their store, I would have got this had I seen it at Christmas time when I bought the other one. This one looks awesome. I don’t mind the printed elements being hard to see on this one imo as it would otherwise take from the beauty of the dial but yeah just omit otherwise. Great watch, and review as always. I think I forgot to mention the movement in my review 😂😂
Very good point mate, I hadn’t thought of it like that but more that the logo looks a bit more like a smudge or something. I’m gonna make a coffee and head over and watch yours in a few minutes 👍👍
I’ve said over and over that my Willard Homage is the cheapest watch I own and possibly my favorite. This dial and the white wavy dial might push me to add another Willard Homage to the collection. Thanks for the great review as always!
Great colour yep a terrible clasp i always changed to a milled there cheap enough i have way to many similar type watches yet its in my basket great review as always))
Very true mate but is a shame Addies just don’t offer it on a better clasp to save everyone who buys the watch, that hassle of changing it. Thanks for watching man 👍👍
Hi there! In-depth & comprehensive review👍 New to u tho just subscribed as I have many high end pcs tho this looks unique & quite the homage to the original🏆 Thx!!
Lovely this mate... That dial has had my eye a few times but never pulled the trigger. I think I'd throw it on my Uncle Seiko razor wire. I think for close to a hundred quid, a milled clasp would've been nice. I get it if it's one of the 50 quid one but, it's 91 quid as of the time of this post
@@WatchtheTimeI love this bracelet mate and definitely recommend one if yiu don't have one, it's really comfortable... Currently on my little red Seestern 62Mas and looks awesome Absolute pain in the behind to resize though... But there is a secret that I'm willing to sell
I just got this one and the BGW9 lume is evely applied and outstanding on this particular watch. Because the price was so nice at $65, I also ordered the wrinkled white dial with the steel bezel. Addiesdive makes a beautiful yet affordable Cpt Willard style watch for us regular folk. And, the rotating bezel and chapter ring marks both manage to line up perfectly.
I received my AD2045 a few days ago and I absolutely love it. It's a real Willard (case) /Turtle (face) hybrid. The Ocean graphic face and Turtle indices/hands look far better than the standard Willard items IMO. Keeps good time (+5s/day). Super comfortable on wrist. No QC Issues at all. Bezel alignment all good etc. Minor criticisms? The Blue edged Minute hand would be better Chrome edged (to match the Hour hand..) and Silver writing on the face would have been more legible than Black. Unbranded/pressed steel clasp is no big deal at the price point. Great value at £63 (incl. taxes & shipping)
Just received mine yesterday. It's a watch you just want to look at all day. The bracelet has the feel of a seiko samurai, just not as thick as a samurai ' bracelet. A pressed clasp, milled clasp does not bother me. It's something no one will see and it's meant to be concealed anyway. The lume just needs to be exposed to the sun some more days before it will be fully activated.
for the watch itself addiesdive (or steeldive) are usually better finished and have way better lume. also better water resistance. but have worse bracelet and clasp than pagani
These Addies and Steeldives are great. When buying one I immediately take the bracelet off and go with a strap. Not a fan of their bracelets or clasps. Great little watches though.
