Great video...any chance you could do a similar video on those chinese pl6/pl8 frequency counter and where they connect ...apparently you can program an extre 2 if offsets ... Cheers
maybe you can explain the coax hook up, i have a superstar 3900 gold plus its a ranger board EPT-690010C and i need the coax hook up i installed a db9 shielded conector. non of the hook up info matches my board .
If you don't know what a VCO Voltage is Ide stay out of the radio personally as you could cause more damage than it's worth , That's just my 2 cents on it .
@@Gw0wvl What I am asking is: what does the frequency counter display, exactly, when you switch to USB. What does it display when you switch to LSB? EXAMPLE: Set your transceiver to 27.205.0 MHz on AM mode. Now switch the radio to USB mode. What does your frequency counter read? In other words, is your frequency counter and configuration smart enough to compensate for the offset?
@@KDM--xm9fh Thats the purpose of the Orange and yellow wire, They are connected to the SSB offsets, so the counter reads true .... Theres plenty of info online explaining this. .........This video is not about how the counter works, Its to show how to connect it up to a Jackson, As per the Title.
