i want a tutorial for a complete suit with shoulder pads, haircloth, lining and everthing...that would be great!

the best way to approach this is to understand the construction process in real life, then create the patterns in CLO.

Nice! But what do you plot for the seamstress when you shrink Lining. You have no true pattern piece.

This is just one way to quickly add lining and is great for many users just learning CLO. You can also always edit the pattern further to have a 1:1 pattern

Sorry for the late reply. Not all lessons come with an accompanying file. Rather the technique should be applied to your own design.

I’m a beginner. I mean really A BEGINNER! I have an UNLINED zip-up hoodie made of cotton? which I’ve purchased satin lining fabric in order for it to feel nicer while wearing it. HOWEVER....I’m not a seamstress and I don’t understand this. Do I buy a pattern first in order to cut it out? I need step by step instructions. Any help?

Hello! You can make patterns in CLO or import them from other sources. They are quite easy to make even if you are not a seamstress or experienced pattern maker. We have a beginners guide series that we reccomend watching if you are brand new to CLO.
