Adding MONSTER FISH To My 500 Gallon Pool Pond! 

Thanks for watching! I am STOKED to finally have the big boys in the pool pond! What other fish should we get for it?⬇️

If you are gonna add more fish you might wanna uppgrade the filter a bit, looks small for the amount of fish waste, also some circulation so the waste doesn't all go in one corner would be good.

As much as I would love to see a pool pond full of tons of monster fish, make sure to avoid over-doing it for one body of water. Gar can get rather territorial with smaller fish, so maybe double up for a second pool pond if you’ve got the space! Either way, love the videos, always happy to see you upload!

Cut some pbc pipe down the middle. Then snap it on the pool pounds to hold down the net. Would be a clean look.

Better idea for holding the net is to cut some pvc pipe into 3 pieces, then split them by length . Then you can snap it over the net and top rail.

You should get the ratching hangers to hang the light from the ceiling it would allow you the adjust the height of your light, lighting the pond more but I love the set up

Definitely more oscars, there are so many cool variety’s and colors

4 cool catfish that would go great would be, cactus pleco, black dragon pleco, broken line royal pleco, or a lima shovelnose. If you need a schooling or dither fish you could do red hook silver dollar which get up to 15 inches or pink tail chalceus which get up to 11 inches. For the clean up crew you could get a flag tail which are great algae eaters.

I do suggest that you add a light over the pond plant since it's above the led light But all in all, another great video and pond, and I can't wait for the future fish

You can use PVC with the metal ends on it it works better and it's heavy so if you put an arowana in there it can't move the top

instead of clamps do you think heavy dubty zip ties might work?

maybe get some pvc and cut it down the middle and use those to keep the netting down instead of the clamps

Pluto in the pool pond might not be a terrible idea , enough space for a flowerhorn to be distracted

nice vid, but u can't keep ur redtails in a 25g, also if u put the red tails or an arowana in the pool pond then they'll eat ur smaller chiclids

Carson: Having the water heater tank next or in the same area to the electrical chords that's on the floor is a recipe for disaster. At least take the time to secure the outlets off the floor a feet and a half.

aint big enough for red tails. Maybe one but two is a stretch, u gotta think abt how big they are. Usually 4-8 feet

I would be careful with the far this if you do get one because they can be EXTREMELY aggressive and could possible kill the other fish unless it’s not as huge(if I am not correct please correct me 👍🏽)😅
