I think that with this type of car. As a brand you can have a reasonable expectation that it will be tuned or built by a significant portion of the customers. So I think it's admirable that Honda is acknowledging this and is allowing Dustin to do this! Go Honda!
@@aceventure8696 Personally, I enjoy all the performance mods. They show what the car can truly be. Yeah, it goes wrong sometimes. But then you'll just have to rebuild. Which is what Dustin is doing :) But hey, each to their own I guess.
I think Honda expects this, and probably would've over engineered these parts if it wasn't for budget and keeping the cars value reasonable. If Honda wanted to they'd release a 700hp Civic but it'd cost near 100k.

very smart to put more weight in the front of the car, helps for more traction, maybe you can have more understeer but you feel it maybe on the race track.

Love the content Dustin. But hey Honda, walked into my local dealer to place an order for a FL5 Type R. They quoted $64,999 before tax, title and registration. Is it normal to get a markup for $20k over msrp?
It's a FWD car, if you want more power, you also need to be putting more weight over or ahead of the front axle. This is done to ensure the car is able to put the power down, and increases traction. PRL honestly seems to know their stuff. My 00 EJ (B16) has a weight plate just to hook in 3rd.
I was curious, how do you guys good at fixing and modding cars, do you guys have to take a school or you just learn it from trying?, i wanted to do the mod myself but i don't have guts to do, so i fear i might just brake something🤣, so hear i am watching youtubers doing cool mods
